Nice try bro, I would suggest you add some bit of lighter yellow to the part of the background (street, wall and car) closest to the heli to give it some more realism. Light as a habit of falling on almost everything around it and so the light from the rocket fire shouldn't be an exception.

Topic says photo editing, what I see so far is more of photo manipulation and composting (only the one by Nobody is apt). Photo editing should be about taking a raw and not so perfect photo and then bringing out the beauty in it or at least improving on it's aesthetic. Other alien materials can be added to the photo but this should be minimal, rather improving on the quality of the original picture is what I believe photo editing is about. E.g, picture below becomes picture underneath.

That's fAr from editing bro or the usual stuff of additing filiters as u rightly mention there.......what is on the wall was basically done with brush tools painting in digital format to achieve that stuff,its not in any filter because if its just filter there won't clean stride in achieveing that colour blend from the eyes side down to the dark path of the Area binded by light!!! This was done in cs6 those are my early stuff
