ubeji:One has to give it to Maigari and his team, they knew how to prepare for and win tournaments. Pinnick and his rag-tag exco need to invest in preparations (camping and quality tune-up friendlies) and learn how to win tournaments not just qualify for them and just make the numbers. 1 Like |

Like I said... Even in the absence of more than 11 of our key/top players Nigeria can still salvage something in this game. Nigeria has pulled a goal back. Like I said again..... Let's see how it ends......... |

Final. Score: Cameroun 2-1 Falcons. I would hv been surprised if Nigeria won in the absence of more than 11 of our top stars. Well, it's all good.... Now Chris Danjuma can go, never to be seen near our national teams again. |

TheSuperNerd:Siasia has let me down. I feel like throwing my phone into the water. The Falcons coach is crazy. Look at what they've done to Nigerian football. Crying right now. 2 Likes |

Cool it Sir... Let's not take the defeats to heart. At least, this will open Siasia's eyes to know that the likes of Sokari, Junior Ajayi, Etebo, Obanor and the rest are not enough to execute the Caf u-23 champiionship that will serve as the final qualifying tournament for the olympics. Siasia and the nff should do their best to secure the release of some of our best U-23 legs like Imoh Ezekiel, Usman Mohammed, Godwin Savior, Ebere Paul Onuachu, Musa Mohammed, Ifeanyi Matthew, Musa Yahaya, Wilfred Ndidi, Obinna Nwobodo, Alex Iwobi(hope his national allegiance switch is completed), Etc, Etc, Etc. Securing the release of Iheanacho will be almost impossible. Even Awoniyi and Isaac Success may be unavailable for the nov/dec tournament. Same goes for Moses Simon. As for the Super falcons, I'm not bothered one bit coz it wassnt our "SUPER FALCONS" who executed this AAG tournament. We missed far more than 11 of our very best. While cameroun and Ivory coast brought their full world cup-tasted arsenal. I just hope the coach the nff names for the Falcons this month would be up to par technically/tactically.... God bless Nigeria........ DeeTus: 1 Like |

Hahahahahahahahahaha..... You were actually right Safari honey *smiles* But Nigeria have never withdrawn from a tournament for which they qualified. Siasia and this nff didn't want to make dat kind of history.... Don't u think? Note: nigeria withdrew from afcon 1996.... That's true. But we went through no qualifying rounds. We qualified automatically as defending champs when we won the 1994 afcon. *Smiles* So uhm.... Yes u were right but pinnick and co plus siasia would hv had none of it.... safarigirl: |

TheSuperNerd:can the falcons still qualify for the olympic or we are out? |
Re: Nigeria Vs Burkina Faso: All Africa Games Today At 4:30pm by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:29am On Sep 19, 2015 |
Sorry, I'm just seeing this..... Well, sadly, the falcons won't be at the 2016 Rio olympics. We lost out to Equatorial Guinea in the 3rd round of qualifying. Obviously, like in the AAG, we missed a couple of our top players due to injury and top club engagements. Eq.guinea and South Africa will battle it out for the africa's sole slot to the women's soccer event at the olympics. walemoney007: |
