Hello NLanders,

A friend of mine received a call from her previous employer, informing her of service replacement with the Nigerian Customs. She was asked to pay N15,500 for the form which she has done already after which she was asked to send another N32,000 to secure her kit (uniforms, etc).

Please anyone with useful information should kindly pop one or two advise.

Please note she was told its not the regular recruitment exercise, that this a REPLACEMENT EXERCISE

Thank you Tempex for the quick response. But how do we know its a scam? Whats the usual procedure for the Custom Service Replacement exercise? She was also told that Training will commence on Monday (October 5, 2015) at the NYSC camp, Kubwa Abuja.

its scam simple. if you want to know why, go to customs office at zone 3, Abuja. infact they will detain you for further questioning.

just hold on till Monday then, anything is possible in this country expecially with the change of leadership
