I got a PM from a nairalander who wishes not to be named but wants me to be the burden bearer and relate to us how she tried to mediate in this matter by calling Jennylov on the number she said she saw on the thread.

I will have to choose my words now so I don't misrepresent her.

She said she called her (Jennylov) and spent 23mts talking until she ran out on credit and Jennylov had to call her back and spent 19mts. She said she is telling me so I will know she spoke extensively with her.

She said Jennylov promised to pay back the money indeed (we all know this anyway) but it was the husband who was going to make the transfer and he told her that as soon as he get back from work,( yesterday) he would make the transfer because he is a salary earner and expects to get his salary then. But that while they were at home in the evening, the husband's "oga" (I don't know if it's boss or not) called the husband and told him he saw his name on the internet as a scammer. That his name and that of his wife is online so the husband got angry, and was like, see someone I am trying to settle is now calling me names. (doesn't make sense to me) as such, he won't transfer again. Shortly after, Jennylov's sister from London also called asking why her name was everywhere as a scammer. That since even her (Jennylov's) classmates and customers have been calling to know what is going on (who cares?)

That she (Jennylov) said she would pay Peach's money whenever she sells the bale that if anybody wants to help, the person should buy the bale and she would give peach the money. That she is dealing with a loss running into millions upto 3million that Peach should have understood instead of painting her badly.

Wow...see what u have caused@peachafrique1?...I won't resort to any insults...I tried to be reasonable but it's obvious it's a waste.calling God is now an offence.i blame myself for trusting or bieliving I could explain to u @idowuogbo...apparently it was a wrong move.whatever I say now will obviously not make any sense, but end up roping me more into this.i just hope at d end of it all, truths will b exposed and I'll get d apology I deserve.ill post my conversations with d person in question..from d first time I added her up on my what's app till date.maybe that will convince u.but if it doesn't,no qualms...truth is Neva hidden.will it also help if I drop my number? Maybe one of u can what's app me and interrogate all u want...anything to prove to u.thers obviously nothing more I can do.and...@idowuogbo...a persons reputation goes far way beyond how many posts they have on NL..some ppl simply don't have all that time.just saying...no hard feelings..I'm expecting more of d insults...* smiles*
Please just shut it already..Since you trust jennylov, why are you scared of the association of your name with hers?Deal with it eh!Better start telling your husband how supporting a scammer landed you in this mess!the fact that she didn't scam you doesn't make her innocent.Next time think before you comment!

The other thing she said enraged me, I guess it will enrage us, so let me leave that. But Jennylov can come and say it by herself.

In summary, she sounds unrepentant and has no date she'd pay neither will she pay in instalment.

Ehen, the nairalander said she even promised her that if she pays sharp sharp that she would advocate for this thread to be pulled down but she said she doesn't care that already it's everywhere

Please enrage us.....it's not as if we are not all enraged already. We get upset when foreigners call us scammers. We are going to use Jennylov as an example that scamming is not a Nigerian thing and attempts to further tarnish our already tattered image will no longer be tolerated

it's a pity, peach should have carried online background check on her b4 contacting her / sending money.
This serves as an eye opener to Nigerians.

This is pathetic. Really is. If the husband is really concerned about 'their name', then he should have sent the money the second he started getting those calls and messages. Because then he would have been able to reply them that it is just a misunderstanding.

But saying something like 'Girl wey I dey try help again' doesn't cut it for me. I mean, refunding someone's money is now akin to helping them?

In summary...some people only understand one language. Jennylov only knows one language. And the earlier peach starts singing in that language the better it'll be for her.

Jesus Christ!! WTF?!! Get angry on top person money? Someone you scammed and blocked? Get angry on someone else's sweat? Dictating when and how to pay someone you owe? Kai!! I'm mad with rage!! Peachafrique1, are you mad or something? Are you an Idíot? Can't you involve police in this matter? Colossus already has her details. Get your evidence of payment and after meeting a good lawyer and go after this bastard and her co-thief, her husband!! The two of them are partners in crime. Whatever you spend in pursuing justice, with a good lawyer, you'll get triple of it. Cuff this jezebel and scammer Jennylove a.k.a Jennifer Ukanwa, and sue for damages. Any amount you spend, a good lawyer will fetch it back when you sue for damages. Never let this heartless hag go with your money. Some wicked humans kill another because of less amount.

The only reason Jenny has the gall to act this dumb is coz you are not serious. Once you get a good lawyer and involve the police, Jennylov the armed robber will pay you double!! You dey fúck up, peach. Tufia!!

I know her type, she won't pay the money willingly. She won't give an exact day either, because she wouldn't want you to hold her by her words. She would keep posting the victim...
The next thing would be to use a family member as a mediator to calm the victim down.

That's the only way she can get her money back(police involvement). This Jenny wareva should be rest assured that damages would apply once a court order gets involved.
