Yeah but carrick is prone to injury. The only weak link in that squad is the defense. No big name there. Laporte would have added more grit to that defence if his transfer had been successful. valencia is not a natural right back. jones/smalling= poopoo. As for darmian,I use to follow him when he was in milan's primavera. Great potential but no there yet. For man u to be a champions league contender and not just epl, Every single one of the guys in that back four need to be replaced.

I don't agree with you on this one... i've seen enough of smalling this season to know what he's capable of on the big stage, smalling has improved massively, his composure on and off the ball is top notch, his timely interceptions are second to none

You know you can't judge him because of a mistake or two right? Smalling has mature, he's confidence level has increased, he has been our most outstanding defender/player since last season

His massive improvement is very glaring even in the eyes of the blind, I feel he's at his peak level
