You have to wipe partition, clear cache...everything about wipe or clear just do it first, then update it thereafter. Be careful not to wipe your SD Card.

did u drop the phone? cos if not it factory fault and u should return it...

One thing you guys should understand is that while rooting gives you unlimited access to the core of your phone with apps, it is still only meant for advanced users and those who follow instructions.

Also, Infinix Hot 2 X510 is relatively new to the market, not all apps have been properly adapted for use except through workarounds. Developers are working on it, but if it does not attract attention there may be no motivation for them as they do these things mostly for free.

So if you don't know what you are doing, do not root your phone. And if you are rooted, be sure to get more info on the app you would like to install and use...cause if you try to be smart, ur smartphone go show u.

OK, MTN data count these days na thief. Just follow the instructions I gave, you should be fine else use glo bis (3gb) or MTN Bis via Psiphon (3-5gb) both can be done without rooting your phone; so you don't have to worry about data consumption

Bros, return the phone or better still get it to the Service Center near you. Or flash the ROM if after you factory reset the phone and doesn't work.

But honestly, I think you have a faulty Screen sensor which is hardware related, I do hope no be fairly used?

From the day I started using this phone, I have no cause to complain, I have rooted, flashed, played heavy games, browse, watch movies/series for hours straight...nothing unsual!

Whatever complaints you see is mostly a repetition of all problems that has been previously answered on this thread...but nobody want to go back and read up. All bugs are being fixed with 2-3 updates and we all know bugs are normal in techs.

So if you wan buy buy, it was the highest selling phone for last month in Naija so you have a lot of attention

You should go to the infinixmobility site, there you'd be able to download the Android one ui. Note that it requires flash, you would see the procedures by downloading the PDF instructions embedded underneath.

Flash as in pls I need d step by step guide

I also followed xda thread b4 I was able to install expose n to be sincere, twasnt easy.. I entered bootlop error twice and flashed mah fne twice b4 I got it but if u folo me wella, u shld get it cos m techn u hw to do it without PC

Even if you unroot, you probably may not be able to update your phone as you will keep getting error messages at reboot. But you can still try it out by converting Kingroot to SuperSU here http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html?m=1
Note: Kingroot doesn't do full unroot, so convert to SuperSU then do the full unroot with it.

If you are using an SD Card update, be sure to download the TF Card Version from the Infinix site not the Laptop/PC Version

You have to take it back there and ask for the Stock ROM Android One else go to Infinix official website, support section and download Android One ROM, then flash your phone.
