catchment states really matters a lot. I have seen situations that non catchment states candidates wrote and scored 280 in post utme but were still not admitted. So its better i avoid had i known and choose the university that includes my state as catchment or better still university of Ibadan which has all the states of the federation as its catchment

. Bye bye then. It is not a do-or-die affair that you must come to OAU, there are several other manageable universities out there.

U must have requested for ur transcript before the commencement of the post utme

Schools such as oau ask for transcript before u write post utme

While schools such as ekiti state uni asks of the transcript after u have been admitted

In a nutshell make sure u have finished ur ond before u apply for DE

If u r still in ur last session do not apply for DE

Bcus before a transcript can be printed the student must have finished d ond programme

Bcus transcript is d cumulative raw scores of all ur result

So if I r still in nd2 second semester for example and u wana opt for DE it means u have wasted ur money because transcript takes a lot of time before it is printed out

And any school dat asks u of transcript before post utme such as oau does,if u did not submit the transcript on time den ur admission is gone even if u passed d postutme

So it is advisable for only student whom has duly completed died nd programme to go for DE "that is if ur school asks of transcript before putme"

But if ur school does not ask of transcript before putme den u can go for it

Bcus before dier putme result comes out den u must have completed ur nd programme and ur transcript would HV been ready



So back to ur question

U will go to ur poly and pay a token like 2k or so

Laspotechcharges3k for transcript processing

U will den forward it to the address of d registrar of d uni

U can submit ur transcript in 2 formats

Either by itself to the registrars office

Or by d use of d polytechnic courier service to d address of the register

Submitting urself is always better but some schools don't release transcript to some student so u r left with no choice Dan to use d school courier

A transcript is always in it original form in an envelope and must not b taken out of d envelope by d student if not it will b void

It must remain sealed

Dis cost me my admission last yr in oau

I unsealed my transcript just to see my scores

And a transcript is only valid for a year

If u did not gain admission onto that uni dat year u must print another transcript d following year

If u r applying to two uni via De u must process two transcript addressed separately to those uni


In oau the credentials u need for DE are

Waec neco or GCE
Birth cert
Transcript
Loc or ond result or notification of complement of one
Direct entry reg print out

And now oau has started writing direct entry exam along side d same day d jambite are writing dier post utme but d questions will b different

Oau doesn't offer business Admin...


There's management and accounting, economics, public Admin et al.... And there cut off was errantly high. Economics was 271 this year!!


Oau school fees for 100l , at the moment, for faculty of administration courses are bout #61500
Acceptance, #20000

and some miscellaneous pays

pls be sincere,u saw it or u were told?.......to be on safe side aas far as oau med is concern,one sitting is needed
