I use the airtel Opera mini bundle which gives me 250mb for N300 and serves my social media needs very well.

then when I need to download, update my apps on my pc and fone or work, I use the airtel Unlimited Night bundle which costs N200 and N500 for 3hrs and 6hrs respectively depending on my needs at that point. this works from 12am-6am.

I am using the opera mini bundle as well. Pls tell me about that night plans and how I can use it on hotspot with my laptop? Thanks!

it is not all airtel sims that is eligible for it. It is for selected sims and is called 1+1 offer. Firstly dial those code to know if your eligible before you recharge.

the airtel night bundle is unlimited and its usable on all devices, even bb or ios, u can tether and share to as many devices you can from 12am-6am. Just dial *481# and select the one u want

owk bro. here's how it works, you need to have N100, N300 or N500 Naira on ur fone to activate this plan. yhu will be given 1hr, 3hrs or 6hrs unlimited access to the internet depending on the plan you choose. for 1hr dial *481*1# to activate, for 3hrs dial *481*2# to activate, for 6hrs dial *481*3# to activate. it can be used on any mobile device as well as modem. there's no code to check data since it's unlimited. all you have to do is check ur time when yhu subscribe and start counting from then. sharing via hotspot is done like with every other subscription you do. no complexity. enjoy

pls note that this plan works from 12am-6am only every night and no eligibility required. it's open to all airtel lines.

but whenever i want to stream/download, i subscribe for mtn bbmidid(5gb for N70/day) and use it with simple-server or psiphon..
