This will be the building space in this building site, we only need to get the grasses taken care of this morning before we invade the site in our usual fashion.

As you can see, we now have a lot of the building materials needed to build this house already on the compound.

There is a borehole already, plus reinforcement bars for the foundation in the site already..........

Yes we can meet, especially on weekends, property investment is one slow but sure way of making and preserving wealth.

Is it advisable to always 'DO' german floor for
duplex?

I mean upstairs ooo.

The land is in a good area. Not muddy / watery.

I always do a German floor as it is a requirement from the various building plans I use. It is very important too, it prevents damp from coming up the walls by putting a separation between the foundation and the block walls for the building. Irrespective of your land condition, dampness will always happen, it must rain and that must keep some water underground and around the foundation. Always do a high foundation. In summary, do a German floor.

I would suggest you use 9" for better column width. Except it is in the plan from the design stage, then adequate structural fortifications will be planned.

.........And so we assembled to continue this work, I have all my men gathered in the site already, ready to roll.........

We then marked out the building lines.....

But first, we need to "deal" with this tree stem blocking out working site..........

Its a team effort, all of us have to lift out the stubborn tree from our building space.

Getting the house squared, our iron reinforcement team are already here, ready to roll........
