Not sure what u r trying to insinuate.
However, as they say “a problem known is half solved”.
Therefore KNOWING the mix of people currently viewing this thread, I know and understand why some might see my request as being insensitive and others won’t. That’s why I appealed.

That’s all my dear.

Hey Ceetee you've got mail

Funny enough I don't think it is insensitive.
I just think the question itself is hilarious. Medical basically entails your blood getting drawn, your p*ss collected, maybe x ray sef.
But the "Father let your will be" done part...oh my!..."people" are praying "Father let your will be done" and you are praying those exact words for medicals too. Due to this I hope your injection is a bit more painful for you than it should normally be grin

Lolz... U r somebody great.

Medicals not equal to employment, they made that very clear. That's why I say "Father let your will and your will alone be done".

Hey! I already posted what I gathered somewhere on the last page. I believe at the very least, we will see perhaps up to 10 people that will not take this offer. So let's keep the hope alive. It's gonna be very very tough to do that and I understand. If only they could have taken everyone cos we all have been amazing on here. It's quite painful but lets see what the immediate future holds. #FingersCrossed.

Thanks for your selflessness my bro. However, just because of some few persons who MAY turn down the offer or fail medicals, they still decided to keep 400+ (minus 70 they have called) in limbo? I think that's the height of heartlessness. Do these guys really know what they are doing?

Bro! You can call it unfair, heartless, wickedness, torture and so on. But my own opinion is that it is completely unacceptable and insensitive for a world class company to pull this kinda stunt.

A regret mail or a waiting list mail could have been sent on the same day the success mails were sent. I can only imagine the pain those wifout strong mind would have passed through that night. Alot of us spent the whole day refreshing our mails and others were simply disoriented @ their place of work.

The fact remains that they will still call more peeps in the nearest future, but their approach to this is not right @ all. some peeps could have developed HBP the day the mails were sent. I still remember someone in here who eventually got the mail later in the day saying he was still shaking after he received his mail, so just imagine what would have been going through the minds of those who were refreshing their mail box.

I want to say a big congratulations to those that were called. I want to say thank you to the peeps that contributed to making the wait worth the while. i want to say a big thank you to folks that were selfless through out the race and a special thank you to Kaitung, Artmedia, Xenox, Saved2serve, Forkaddict, Nicer, Dmainman and all the wonderful ladies in the house.

To all of us still waiting to hear from NLNG, i will say be strong and look up to the future. I wish us the best of luck.

Have a splendid nyt rest folks!!!

I must confess that I have had a tab open on my browser for this thread since 2014 and I have a daily ritual of refreshing in the mornings, at lunchtime and right before I go to sleep. I have created a mental picture of what all the regulars look like. I will say a short prayer for everyone who is expecting, that God surprises you and gives you a testimony.

In the euphoria of mails being received, let's not forget to say a special thank you to those who helped us with the wait even when they didn't have to. Forkadict, Kaitung Dplacement, Artmedia and his reliable sauce, Nicer, Saved2Serve ( who I suspect went awol but may have reappeared to us using an alternate moniker), and many others.

Special mention to a few hopefuls who made this all fun; ladyf, airlongsaycon, sexyjob, Ezinne, ashleeee, ItsTime4Me, DMainMan, the "this week is not the week" crew, the "page 300" crew, the "first on a new page" crew.

However this turns out, I want us all to never stop believing in God's design for us. What may appear as a disappointment today may be a testimony tomorrow. Case in point - fresh out of nysc many years ago, I tried to get into a gt position in a multinational that was top tier in terms of pay (outside of the IOC's). For some reason, it didn't work out despite having to travel from abia to pH to Lagos at different stages. I was broken but I moved on. Fast forward to last year, this guys saw my profile on LinkedIn and started to call me left right and centre to take a manager role. They were willing to bend over backwards to whatever terms. I still turned it down. Moral of my epistle. There is a grand design for everyone and if you are reading this, you are destined for greatness.

Also I heard from an unconfirmed source that some regret mails were sent that Thursday. Who can confirm this please?

Guy this is a nice attempt to want to know those still left in the race. However, I can assure you that it won't be near the exact number. The reason is that most people are not on NL or those that are here may not want to do it. For example, it has been confirmed that 70 peeps were called for the medical, but your last post has seen only 15 likes since you posted it. In a related development, Info has it that plan was for 120 but the management approved only 70. So if reject mails were really sent, it is reasonable to conclude that just 50 peeps are left to be contacted (If the number left is more than 50 after they had sent regret mails, I would surely conclude that those guys don't really know what they are doing). Now for those left uncontacted, sources also have it that they are either waiting for management approval or a turndown of offer/medical failure of any peep who has been called. So my prayer is that the former should prevail so that more of us can be called. It wasn't a difficult thing for them to have sent us regret mails, when they sent to others. Every cloud has a silver lining. I am positive that I will be called. A need must arise for them to call me. It's not that I deserve to be called but I am just believing in Jah's undeserved kindness as always.

I very strongly doubt if any regret mail other than those of 25th Jan is received (sincerely pray my doubt is wrong)! Reason being not a single soul on Nairaland testify to personally receiving one. Further more if indeed out of over 400 some are called, some uncontacted and some regrets then I think the last group should have more people than the rest and we would have seen some nairanlanders with such. In 2007 success mails were sent way before regret mails I observe.

My hope is still very much ALIVE too though!

When mails were sent on January 25, how many souls attested to receiving the regret mails here on NL? Only one person - my delectable whatsupguys. And well about 200 regret mails were sent then. So the fact that no one has come up here since last week Thursday to attest to receiving the regret mail does not mean that nobody received it. You think it's easy to come up here to say 'I got a regret mail' after this looooong wait? Little wonder someone said that a person who got the recent regret regret mail deleted it immediately. Why do you think the person did that? One word: Frustration. So you expect such person to come up here to say 'Hey guys I got the regret mail'? very hard! Good enough, some persons have come up here to say that they know people who got the reject mails. This shows that they did really send regret mails on Thursday of last week. So, what I think we should be concerning ourselves with at this point is, how many of us are left and their plans for us, as the wait is damn is excruciating. I would suggest that those who can get reliable insider info should please do. I have so much mixed feelings here. A combination of hope and other inexplicable feelings. My trust is in the SUPREME JAH and I will always believe in his undeserved kindness.

Glad to see that our flame of hope aint going out so easily......seems we've all got refueling oil..enof at that.
I'm happy becos God knows our situation and that He's got all under His control...you can only be sad and discourage if you have lost the line that you are only a pencil in God's hand and that God cant use you rubbishly and ignore you.
I for one do have the faith that i will be called but if it happens that d otherwise happens....i have told myself that i wil stil praise God same way i would have if the mail turns out successful. .... like king David, he prayed n fasted that his son shld survive but at the death of his son he rejoiced. And that is becos He knew that was God's will.
For those of us still on the line i want us to view our expectant mail as God's will but that shldnt clog ur minds of optimist.
LESSON..there are many tributaries all varying in size , lenght and contains different species of fish but the beautiful thing is that, they all lead to the great OCEAN

Grace to greater heights to those who got regret mails God has other plans for you.
Congrats to those who got d success mails.
