Where's safarigirl?

You won't understand the role the "overrated" Dele Alli played in this game, despite his involvement in the build up to the two goals. How he was running into different spaces, despite not getting the ball. And the fact that Wayne Rooney didn't give him freehand to marshal the midfield. Yes, a few misplaced passes here and there and, Ramsey on his case throughout the game. But the guy's just scratching his talent - when he's ready, he'll be up there with the greats.

Don't underestimate this young and inexperienced English team. They'll only get better as the tourney progresses and will increase the level of play depending on opposition. Salute when you see the Three Lions. grin

Chei see people wey hate England ! una jst dey here dey abuse the coach and the players, it is easy to come back from a goal down to win a game? Kudos to the coach for the changes, the players he brought on change the game.....England dominated the game, i dont knw whr u guys with ur jabs are coming from....even as i dont support them... we still need to give it up to dem, they did a great job today.....and whr are the people raining insults on Sturridge? make una show face na.....yeye people

This England team though..young, exciting and full of promise.But I don't think they are ready yet.Reminds me of the young Spanish squad in germany 2006. They later became world beaters and conquered all. Get a decent coach for this team, and they'll win the next euro/world cup. Germany/france to win this trophy.

This is close to what I told Safarigirl and one other chap. I repeat Hodgson and the technical team would be the reason why England would not win the tourney. Choice of player combination and the match philosophy is just not it

Vardy was in an offside position but it was Asley Williams who headed to ball down to his path.
Supposing it was his team mate who headed the ball to him, he would have been flagged off.
