good day folks and happy weekend. To say ive been having a wow weekend is an understatement. MTN has given me a serious HARD-ON( far better than the results ive gotten with viagra..i shi.t you not) which hasnt come down since yesterday....

okay so i subscribed for the 3.5 gig for 2k plan on both my htc desire dual sim and samsung galaxy tab A. had a lot of multi-gig files to download and decided to use my HTC as my modem expecting to get the usual 400/500kb/s speed which is normal here in rumuokoro,PH.

the speeds i got were to the say the least quite shocking,way faster than my spectranet. Below are my speeds with spectranet,then,with HTC wifi and USB thetering and finally samsung galaxy tab A wifi and USB thetering.

a couple of things to note though...HTC boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 + Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7
samsung tab A boasts Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 + Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A7

conclusions: 1. usb thetering is far faster than wifi
2. MTN has improved in my area. i cant wait to see the speeds at night. also goes to show their 4G services will be madt.
3. HTC desire is a solid phablet for browsing...
4. we are not there yet as a country but we are slowly but surely getting there as regards internet access.
5.MTN 42gigs for 4grand is money well spent IMHO
