The most important thing to consider when buying stuff online especially in Nigeria is that Konga and Jumia are not the only shops in the world. It pains to notice the level of unseriousness our online shops are showing when it comes to pricing and even delivery times.
I will hammer on pricing, for now, I just noticed a shop in Nigeria offering the old PS4 version for N99,900 on Black Friday and I laughed. I have been following market trends on certain items, and the PS Slim has been one of those items. You can get the new ps4 slim bundle (plus one video game) from many online shops like Amazon.co.uk, zaavi.com (with free delivery) and Ebay at cheaper prices plus delivery (not up to N90,000 after currency conversion).
You can do some currency conversion to estimate how much you will spend to order certain items from shops abroad to have an idea of the level of exploitation from these local shops. The moral of this piece is, do proper market research before buying stuff from online shops in Nigeria. Compare prices from online shops across the globe and consider the cost of buying it from shops abroad especially from the UK (sending from the UK is cheaper than the US).
Choose not to be exploited, ask questions, do your due diligence; I understand that not every item on Amazon or Ebay ships to Nigeria but check for other alternatives, there are many. There is no Black Friday in Nigeria, just minor discounts if any. As for those that just bought the old ps4 or are about to make the mistake of buying from these Nigerian exploiters go to Zaavi.com and look at the bundle with 3 games and compare the cost. Thank me later.

I don't need to thank you later boss! I will thank you now for bringing up this issue. People need to wake up to reality. No Nigerian business personnel is happy with a customer unless he always deceiving /taking advantage of the customer!
