Okorocha deserves some accolades for maintaining a working fire service though there's room for improvement. If not for the functional fire fighting department the houses around the gas station as well as the entire station would have been destroyed.

Compare with similar fire incidents in Anambra State under Obiano and be the judge.

In fact when i hear say Okoro spend 800million plant flowers i say can't anything be done to train youths, like establish technical training/vocational centers where girls can learn baking boys barbing etc. short term projects where they can learn skills rather than flower planting like our broda that left Lagos recently, the one that was digging borehole for 1 billion..

FYI, its diesel not petrol and the hero was the tanker driver then the gallant men of the fire service, not NEMA.

The fire started while discharging the diesel, immediately the driver noticed it, he got into the vehicle and tried driving off to save the filling station. He didn't drive off completely cos of traffic and the size of the road.

OP, do well to give credit to those who deserve it.
