Well, my son is 9months and about a 3months ago he started to prefer his dad over me, at first it was cute but now it just hurts my feelings. Whenever his dad is around he wants nothing to do with me he just fusses until my husband is holding him. It does make me happy to see my son loves his daddy so much but I want to have a strong bond with him too. My husband says its just a phase but it still makes me feel so inadequate. This pikin dey try me sha.

How long did u breastfeed him? Because breastfeeding creates a bond btw moda n child.

I LOVE how my husband is with our son and wouldn't change a thing between them. But sometimes (like now) it really does get to me how much our son prefers his dad to me. There are times when my son wont even look at me in the eye (for anything!) and as soon as he see's daddy, is completely engaged and happy looking at dad.

Maybe your husband is the playful time, babies love people that gives funny faces, everything does not end in breastfeeding and doing mother's care, you need to sing, play, dance with your baby.
