*main points from the orientation held today*


It is stated in the regulations of the school that if you are a full time student and you are caught having a job, you are bound to face the disciplinary committee and be expelled from the school.

For this set, the PG school will still maintain its 7 point grading system while UG will change to a 4 point grading system.

When registering your courses online, you must register all compulsory and required courses in your unit and at least, one elective.

Do not register your research project this session during your online registration. You will do that next session (third semester).

Once you are done with course registration online and you want to add or delete a course, you will be surcharged depending on how many weeks after resumption that you are changing the course.

If you are sick before any of the exams, you have to write to the HOD showing proof from the university clinic (jaja clinic) that you can't write the exam. (In my opinion for this, by the time you run round to get the letters, the sickness will disappear from your body)

Lectures have fully commenced today and will continue tomorrow. Whatever you miss out on, cannot be recovered.

Once you pay tuition fees, the PG school will assign you to a hostel and give you your matric number. Rush to the hall assigned to you, present what is given to you, if there is available bedspace, you will be given an authority to pay which you will take to the bank and pay before getting your bed space. (Note that the space is for two semester, you will be chased out of the hall during your third semester for new intakes)

Requirements for departmental registration:
Biodata form(given to you by the department PG coordinator)
File with UI logo on it
Passport
Admission letter
All documents given to you from PG school
O level certificate
Degree certificate
Birth certificate

At what point is it UI's problem if I am a full time student with a job ? The onus is on me to fulfill my obligations. Unnecessary difficulty we create for ourselves in this country.

I got a mail that that I have been assigned a matriculation number, it will also reflect on your portal when you log in and say, try to print your school fees receipt. For the accomodation, you can make request on your portal, its only available after you have paid school fees.

that is ui for u. In fact our time table is loaded, Mon to Fri. 8am to 5pm
