GrandMufti: The language barrier is terrible! Chinese people no try at all. I couldn't get them to understand me when I spoke the Global ROM. I might buy it and take it to another part of town I have heard has a heavy concentration of electronics shops to have it flashed. |

obuneme: It depends what u need/want. They are 2 different devices with distinct features. You can't go wrong with any of the 2. If mi max is what u wanna get, do sharp sharp because, they are not restocking it and only 2 seller have few left on aliexpress. |

From the store feedback I read this "Global Stable but with bootloader left still loved so open box but other than that brand new and running Google Play out of the box with OTAs working fully and Android Pay. pls can you help explain some terms used in that statement. Cos I don't know what bootloader means in a phone |

Thanks @jboixx and @gptech and others. My phone number s back to normal. I didn't have to go through the fadtboot and recovery mode methods. All I had to do was go to my updater app, and I chose the update package and voila! I've reverted back to miui 8v 7.3.30 Thanks |

At last I finally paid for my Mi Note 2. It aint easy funding alipocket with close to 600 dolars menh! Thanks to those that responded to my plight when finding it difficult to fund my alipocket.
