Southampton have confirmed the appointment of Mauricio Pellegrino as the club's new manager.

According to reports gathered, the Argentine joining on a three-year deal with the Saint Mary's side.

The 45-year-old takes over from Claude Puel, who departed the club earlier this month.

Pellegrino stepped down as manager of Alaves following their Copa del Rey final defeat to Barcelona last month.

He will officially link up with Southampton next week ahead of the 2017-18 Premier League season.

Lol......obviously you are talking about Manuel pellegrini the ex Malaga, Madrid and Manchester city manager. This one is pellegrino and not the other one you thought.
