*STUDENTS SHOULD KEEP QUIET ABOUT EXAM LEAKAGE AS A REASON FOR THE CANCELLATION... THAT WAS JUST A MERE RUMOR. THERE WERE TECHNICAL ISSUES ACROSS SEVERAL STUDY CENTRES TODAY AND THE BEST THEY COULD DO TO ENABLE EVENNESS IS TO POSTPONE ALL PAPERS SLATED FOR TODAY.*

It is high time that some people will just try to open their minds before concluding over some things or accepting some rumors. The rumors might have more effects on you guys than even those mongers that develop them. The school did not officially state the reasons for the postponement but judging from observations and confirmations from several students across study centres, many centres had issues and the best was to generally cancel all the papers in order to avoid openness of the questions by those who have attempted the exams to those who have not.

LIVE:

Vice Chancellor of the National Open University, Professor Abdalla Uba Adamu paying visit to DVC Acad. Office, in Lagos.

The main discussion is about Exam postponement. The vice chancellor said the quality and integrity of the university must be upheld at all costs.

He reiterated his "absolute confidence" on all the officers in charge of examination to do their work.

The vice chancellor emphasised that Quality and Integrity is the backbone of the National Open University, and that there will be no way some few miscreants would be allowed to over take, hijack or temper with examination processes.

While describing Professor Eya as Sarkin Yaki (War Commander), the vice chancellor also thanked him for his efforts towards seeing a better, prosperous National Open University.
