Site area: 4096 sqm

Total Floor Area: 132, 300 sqm

Number of Floors: 75 floors

Architectural Height: 377 m

Market: commercial, office, observation, communication, mixed-use, retail outlet, hotel,
etc

The NIGERIA ELEVATION TOWER is a building with a striking helical shape, turning 180 degrees over the course of its height. Each floor is identical in plan, but is set 2.4 degrees clockwise from the floor below, giving the tower a distinctive form by way of an innovative, efficient, repeatable structure. Its shape is pure expression of the relationship between a building’s form and the structural framework that supports it.
Aesthetically, the twisting shape makes the building stand out from the architectural disharmony of the Eko Atlantic, which is largely composed of indistinct towers that do not speak to their location. The tower’s twisting form provides a greater number of units with desirable views of the Eko Atlantic, while also preserving the views for residents living in neighboring buildings, ensuring that NIGERIA ELEVATION TOWER enhances its spectacular waterfront site.
The tower’s structural system is a cast-in-place, high-strength, reinforced-concrete column superstructure. The shape and size of the columns were determined through the use of wind-tunnel testing and three-dimensional computer modeling to analyze building stresses. The building core is a cylindrical concrete form that acts as the central pillar for the tower. As the building ascends, the rotation at each floor occurs around this central mass. The building was constructed using a “jump form” system that takes advantage of its repetitive nature.

Of what importance is this elephant project to the economy and the general populace? undecided

I am surprised at the rate at which some deluded individuals high at the sight of the picture of a supposed economic Eldorado project quote me.

I will point out projects of this nature awarded and started but abandoned after the funds has been siphoned. Projects that cost $13m but couldn't add $7m in return to the economy.

On the other hand, taking a cue from @ANBAKO if the project is being initiated, financed and managed by Private conglomerate, then its a welcomed one. I believe no serious investor would inject money into projects that wouldn't bring PROFIT. Government don't give a damn if it is profitable or not. So, far it could enable them inflate contract sum, its a project for the masses!

Please, read between the lines before jumping at a statement. To whom brain is given, pragmatic reasoning is expected. Thank you.

Elephant project? This is not a govt project but a private investment.
The investors for this project have done their analysis and know the viability. These are the "simple" things that makes the econom bouyant.

Won't they hire building operators, construction workers, janitorial service providers, facility managers etc.

nonsense. alot of skyscrappers lie abandonded in VI, IKoyi, and marina. many are vacant as no more free money to rent such. yet these ones still wan build more. I blame the banks for always giving these pple loan to waste. Adenuga's Bella place is still abandon after it was seized from him.

There's a similar tower in Dubai guess that's what inspired this it's really beautiful
, Although OP didn't state who exactly is building it. dunno the need for such waste of money if it's a government project but if it's an organization then they r building a beautiful landmark

So much ignorance on this thread. Inspired architectural buildings serves as big source of tourist attractions all over the world.
In addition, instead of going to Dubai more people would rather spend money there. Thus, creating more jobs and investment into the local economy.
You spend money to make money.
