How is it unecessary? Grey is obviously different from Gold. and it commom courtesy to ask just in case its a random car waiting for someone else. How did she waste his tme o mr excuses for ugly customer service? She's outside a shopping mall why should she go onto the main road to be picked up, shes paying for the extra miles so whats his stress. If he tired he should switch off


You need to read that thread for uber partners, they are all moaning of low fares i bet some of them are transferring their anger at poor riders who dont set the fares

I totally agree with you..From the girl's version.One will sense she is rude

But where the driver messed up is with that.You don't call a customer stupid. no matter what

Typical Nigerian. A Driver has the audacity to send you stinker of a message, calling you stupid, and you expect the lady to simply laugh it off. What message would that send to the driver? Wouldn't he do worse next time, to another rider?

Listen to a senseless other party that sent a "stupid" message to a rider? Who does that? No excuse in the world justifies that! If the rider had been unruly, the driver is EXPECTED to REPORT her to taxify, and she would be barred from using the service if she is found culpable.

Taking the liberty to insult a rider, regardless of the circumstances, is unacceptable. And taxify did the needful by sacking the unprofessional idiot.

I tell you. As egotistical or short tempered as I can be on occasions, if I find myself in a duty post where I have to interact with strangers/the public daily, I would develop the thickest skin in the world. Nothing, and I mean, NOTHING - except actual physical assault by the customer - can make me form stupid egotistical attitude in reaction to a customer that is acting up.

If i work at a job that brings me in contact with different strangers everyday, I should expect to encounter all sorts of difficult and unmanageable people. It comes with the damn territory. If I can't deal with that, I rather quit the job and go back to my house for goodness sake, than spill my ego all over the place in the line of duty.

It disgusts me when people vent their frustrations on a job that no one forced them to take.

Well, the girl (customer) is allowed to be pompous; it is one of the privileges that her customership confers on her. On the other hand, the driver (service provider) is NOT allowed to be arrogant in the line of duty. If you can't keep your yeye arrogance at home when you set out for your daily business of providing paid services to the public, then the profession is not for you. It's really that simple.

When people with your kind of thought pattern have businesses, they treat their clients like shit. So she was wrong to ask questions abi? This is Nigeria where customer service is poor. it shouldn't be.
