Pls people i need information about the mitsubishi montero jeep 2005 model.How is this car and how much can i get the gear box.is the gear box scarce and are there any known problems always associated with this model.i need this info urgently .thanks

I don't know whether you are talking about the montero sports or the montero that looks like a pajero which i basically don't know the difference. but the montero sport (the one that has the same size as the toyota 4runner) not the fat montero is a very good and reliable car, have heard pips talk about its engine consuming oil but to be frank I have seen one been used by a Chinese man for 3yrs plus and the only expensive job he has done was on the legs, the car is still solid as at today

Montero Sport is a very strong SUV. If you get one with good mileage and good maintenance history, you will love it.....The only issue is the bland dashboard; I have had one since 2011 and wifey is currently using it. I can give you more information on the SUV if you need from personal experience.

I use a montero/pajero 2005 model (not montero sport) for close to 1 year.I will tell you from my personal experience.It is a very good car,transmission is very smooth however i will tell you wnat to avoid when you own a Mitsubishi

Wiring: Yes,the wiring and electrical components troubleshooting should only be handled by a trained and experienced technician.One wrong move and your ECU (brainbox) will be burnt

Engine: The engine is good,however it does not tolerate overheating,late servicing or your engine running out of gas.So make sure you check the water in your radiator regularly,service on time and ensure that your tank never runs out of gas

Suspension: The suspension is very good.Do not expect to change it often like toyota and others

Fuel Economy: Driving without AC gives you more mileage just like with any other regular car

Spare Parts: The spare parts are cheap and readily available

These claims sounds strange sir!! But I want to believe you. How much for the engine and transmission toks?

The engine should be around 350,000 but i do not know about the tranny
