Please how can i uninstall this useless notification app? I dont knw how it got into my fone and it has refused to uninstall. When i uninstall it, it will come back after some minutes.

Go to security settings and turn off "Allow installation of apps from unknown sources".

Then uninstall the app.

How is it a built in app when it suddenly appeared on my fone. I have been using my fone for months and it was never there and did not push notifications to my fone. The app sends news and other promos to my fone in the notification bar.

No, i have never done an OTA update.

From your screenshot.. select data usage and disable Background data usage..... The app won't have access to Internet..

Next time.. be sure of the source and app you want to install...

Since it installs back when your data is on, what you have is a virus. Get the phone flashed

There must be a host app dat is reinstalling dat particular app. Identify it and strike it out.

And again what android version are u on presently?

I had the same issue with my phone. What I did was to go to all my browsers and disable notification. After that Opera mini didn't stop theirs so I uninstalled Opera and since then I have peace.

That's the problem, i cant identify the host app.

I have done all that in d past. Disabled notifications in my browser but the app still pushes notifications to my fone its so annoying

Do you have 360 app on ur phone. If u do then that is the host app. Try deleting it. I had same ish on ur my phone too deleted the 360 and it went off..

bruv ..u can't ....if u uninstall it ... it will reinstall ... because it's a notification plugging for chrome browser abd Google app .. .....so they needs it to display notifications ..... ...i av it too ...

Do you have 360 app on ur phone. If u do then that is the host app. Try deleting it. I had same ish on ur my phone too deleted the 360 and it went off..

Its a virus not some plugin, google can't be forcefully giving you ads on your status bar. I experienced it in my last phone. Your only choice is to flash your phone or disable the app and disallow installation from unknown sources.
