Hi, i am unable to proceed with my nysc registration due to the fact i cannot get my finger print done. When i open the nysc page, i get stucked at the finger print page. The 2 boxes for the left and right thumb come up but the finger print do not appear on the screen. I already downloaded RTE 64 bit machine for the digitalpersona 4500 fingerprint scanner and jre 8u60. I decided to download the NYSC biometric capture icon and that did not work either.

I used that one too, the app shows "FingerPrint reader was touched" anytime I tried to capture but it never shows/reads on the app (and website too)

You didn't touch it very well. Move your thumb up a little bit and try other different angles too. Get an external webcam above 2MP and use it capture your picture. i used the one with up to 8MP and it captured once, at most on the 3rd try. This is the option that works best, don't waste your time with that java stuff. I have registered several people at my centre with that.
