Combining work with study takes some amount of mental strength, I think, here in Nigeria. Think about the strength of your grades, try to find out how they'll cope with less attention given to them.

I'll go home, take a shower and open my saloon ,I closed around 10pm ,read for one or two hours, then off to bed .Weekends are usually free, so I open early on weekends.
I barely touched the hand out money my parents gave me, because I was making 10 to 15k weekly and it also helped that my only competitor around that area was a middle aged man, who only knew how to give gorrimakpa, so the slay kings and queens flocked into my shop.

I will advise you to go to NOUN- National Open University

It depends on the kind of work you intend to do, note that you can do partime if it's full time paid employment you are looking at.

Perhaps hotel job or factory worker strictly night tins but your body go hear am for day time. You may even be dozing during lectures but the good thing is your attendance would be marked then you can attend short services like those packaged by Living Faith. Very convenient.

It helped my course was relatively easy, it was just mass communication.
Most of the works were practically based, creating an advert, editing news, programs etcetera.

In my own case I work part time especially during holidays and sometimes weekends. I work in a printing press as an operator and also have a good relationship with my boss. Since mine is part time, when I'm in school I totally forget about work and face my studies and when its the weekend or holidays I do same to school too.

Won't lie to you it wasn't easy at first, cos after the holidays sometimes you struggle to sometimes catch up with school, cos most times you tend to forget little things you've learned previously.

All you really need is to separate both, and create time for serious studies (have a time table for all your courses and stick to it).

I tutored UTME, JAMB, SSCE students throughout my undergraduate days. its quite flexible if you are up to it

Its very, very feasible but difficult. I worked, and grew my business while still in school. The truth is you cant meet up all your lectures (maybe 30% of them), so you have to create a study timetable for all your courses. One trick i used then was to buy a recorder, asked my course rep to help me tape most lectures, then i listened during off peak periods at work.
Its commendable and its gonna sharpen your focus and expose your main priorities.
Give it a shot, but if it encroaches too much on your education, try starting a business. You can create your own time and schedule to fit your academic time table.

Y not go into buying and selling... Or Since u are in a fed sch... Handouts are sure.. U can collect it from d lecturers and make fotocopies for ur level mates that are interested.. Just look around u and see how u can make life easier for people.. Then make money tru it... U can also do laundry... Start wit friends... Then u move up.. Lecturers and co..

Its all about time management, how well can you manage your time? if you want to work and school you will have to run on a schedule that cant be broken, studying engineering can be very tasking especially in Nigeria were our curriculum is not tailored to accommodate working and schooling. In the UK i know of people who worked to pay their bills and school fees, finishing top in their class but that was possible because of how flexible the system was.

we have moved from the education economy to the skill economy, meaning that employers dont care what school, grades, or course you study what they are after is what can you do, getting experience in school will put you in an advantage position when you finally graduate.

just be committed, consistent, disciplined, and run on a schedule n it is possible to work and school.

Just thought letting some trusted colleague know may come in handy some day in the sense that they may have to cover up for u some day....please do you have idea how they schedule test or exams for part-time programme students....If it's week days that means I'm dead cos work won't permit that.
