This is the breakdown of your score (with an assumption that you scored CLB 9 in the IELTS test).

Work Experience: 9 points

Education: 21 points

Language: 24 points

Age: 12 points

Total : 66 Points.

With your current profile, you are not eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker program. You need to score 67 points out of 100 to be eligible.

Hello, please I need help. I'm a JJC here. I'm planning to apply for express entry but I only have nysc experience (as a GA in university) and some teaching experience thereafter. My undergraduate degree is in chemical engineering and I am currently studying for Petroleum engineering in the UK. What are my chances if I applied immediately after finishing my degree without any additional work experience? Thank you as I await your response.

It may be necessary if you need the extra points from it. But if you can get a good CRS score without his ECA, by all means ignore it.

Evening guys, pls my husband is the primary applicant,is it necessary that I asses my degree too?

Your job description fits more for 1112 than 1111. I fall under NOC 1111 and I'm certain that it doesn't include your description. Just check 1112 in case

Many thanks to Newmum0615. Didn't know she had already responded to your inquiry

Gratitude @Mcstan18.

As a follow-up. I have worked as a compliance officer for over four years (4 years) and less than a year as a risk officer - financials (which is now my new designation).

Which should I have stated on my REF letter?

Adetola007 from the GRE thread? You are good to go with your master's degree and one year work experience. Try to score a minimum of 8777 (LRSW) in your IELTS test. You will evaluate your certificate when you are through with your master's program. Read the links on page 0 to know more about the whole process.

1. Do you have any relative who is a Canadian PR/Citizen living in Canada? If yes, that will give you 5 points for adaptability under the FSW grid.

2. Gain one more year work experience.

3. Learn French and do a French test.

4. Do one year postgraduate diploma course or master's program.

With you as the PA you get 399 points.

If your spouse rewrites IELTS and gets a minimum of 8777 LRWS, you shoot to 409.

Yes, I'm the one. Thank you. I've checked the CIC website and I realise I can get up to 480 points if I get a good IELTS score. Just want to be sure if the experience is valid. Thank you.

Your projected CRS score is 460. This is based on the assumption that you and your spouse will aim to score CLB 9 in the IELTS test and both of you will evaluate your certificates.

You can learn to calculate it yourself by using the CRS tool.

One reason may may be number of years of experience. When you use the CRS tool, you input number of years and you may have rounded up your number of years. When you fill the EE profile, it asks for dates but does not round up your number of years so for example, if you have 22 months experience, the system won’t see it as 2 years but a year.

Ok Noted . Thank you

@balogunsam, I hope you have sorted this already. If not, you might want to try going to an internet cafe and seek help with their computer guys. Had a similar issue a while back and I had used online compressing sites to reduce to 7.7mb on my own and the sites couldn't reduce further. But the guy used Corel Draw to further help me reduce to 3.98MB.

If you're anywhere near the Computer Village, Ikeja, I can describe the particular cafe I did mine from. Very easy and on the road.

Wish you all the best.

God bless you real good sir. I have resolved it.
