Congrats.

Pls did you do medical visa on your last missionary journey?
And is this medical visa too?
Sorry for the questions, im just about to renew and still torn between scheduling an appointment and dropbox.
Im pressed for time as it is and hoping in God for your kind of miracle. I applied for a medical visa and im applying for sam again. I believe i wont be called for follow up.

I don't think you should be worried much as your previous application was also for medical... Mine was medical too and I applied for same again . It took 12 working days in total after Dropbox submission. In all, just pray for favour. Wish u all the best.

What is required is 6months.. so please go ahead no issues cos they won't renew it for you now even if you think of going through that route...

I had my baby in New York in 2016 on tourist visa but I informed them at the Port of entry that I was going to have my bat and they allowed me in. Before I traveled I inquired about cost and I was told that hospital bill among other bills for self pay is $6,000 dollars. Altogether I paid almost $15,000 for the delivery ( hospital, doctor's bill, lab, anesthesia and paediatric care). But I was surprised when the hospital gave me my itemized receipt, it showed a bill of $35,000. And since I paid $6,000. The balance of $25,000 was written off as self pay adjusted discount. When I asked they said that's how the template is in their system. Anyway, I gathered all my other receipts from Doctor, lab etc. Fast forward to January 2018
I tried to renew my Visa. This time I applied for medical visa. Because I am pregnant again. And the interview went this way
VO- how long was you longest stay in the US
ME- 3 months
VO- what were you doing there
ME- I had my baby
Vo- how much did you pay
ME- almost$15,000
Vo- may I have the receipts
And I handed the receipts to him
Vo- you were billed $35,000 for hospital and you only paid $6,000. Why did they give you such huge discount
ME- I wouldn't know, I was asked if I was self pay or with insurance and I said self pay and they said their bill for self pay is $6,000 which I paid in full. It's possible the other bills are for those with insurance
Vo- I'm sorry at this time you do not qualify for US Visa and handed me the white paper.
I'm really upset. I have reapplied. Please help me. I want to know if there is anything I need to do before my upcoming interview to enhance my getting the visa.

I would suggest that when nxth ur going for ur interview try and staple together the letter for self pay bill you collected from the hospital before going there with your zero balance and hands it over to the Vo if asked

Pls has anyone ever got a refund for early discharge from admission? Let’s say you were scheduled to stay on admission for 72 hours but were discharged in 48 hours.

I just went for B2 just in case something happens so I wouldn't start thinking of how to change it to B2. I cant imagine joggling twins, a job and then new baby, but no one knows what can happen hehehe

By the way please i need info, pls is visa on arrival still $180 by card and $190 if you're paying cash.

Good evening.

I need advise urgently please and would appreciate your response.

I want to have my baby in Brooklyn. I wanted to use Kings County but they have now said just for in patient bill i may pay up to $25,000 for a vaginal delivery!. This is minus doctors appointments, lab work, even sonogram they said its $2,000.

Can anyone please advise on any reasonably priced hospitals to give birth in Brooklyn.

Thank you so much.

Hello

Hospitals r expensive in newyork but contact @ewa2014 she put a name up in 2015. Don't know the cost , it's Mercy medical center. It's in Rockville center.(long island axis of newyork).

Or

Ask @mamaron she once talked about mount Sinai hospital. She said they have several branches depending on your exact location in NYC.

Thanks for this info. To clarify, they usually bring SSN forms in the hospital after u put to bed, is that you do not fill these and just head straight to thier office so it's faster? Or you still fill and submit in the hospital then go to thier office for follow up? Kindly clarify pls... Thank you.
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 11:17am On Feb 17, 2018
SSN is usually ready 3 days after submission of form. That is after delivery. You can call the Social Seceurty Adminstration office in your county to obtain the number if you are able to answer some security questions as per details registered at the the hospital etc. Or better still locate the office and go there with yuor govt approved IDs.

Ok. Thank you. I kinda understand that it's ready and will come if u fill the forms after delivery in the hospital... it's just that the initial post made it seem like going to their office makes it arrive faster.. so i want to be sure I go there just for follow up so that I'm not told I've already filled forms in the hospital and should wait (Hope u understand). The 1st post in this (forgotten the handle) said you fill a form when you get to thier office? Is it a fresh SSN request form or just form to tell them where to deliver to? Or??

Thank you. P.S- Asking for Chicago District.

For the birth certificate (sorry I'm not tagging who asked about that), after 2 days of hospital discharge, just go to the bc office in your county. that's what i did and i picked up as much copies as i wanted.

I applied for nigerian passport last week Thursday, paid 77$ money order and went to the embassy yesterday for my appointment. passport was also ready as at the evening of the same day. Told them I was traveling immediately.
All I paid was that 77$ money order to innovate. since the passport is cheaper than VOA, why do so many people opt for the VOA? everything took me a week.

People opt for VOA because of locations.

The reason for calling is to get the SSN on phone after the security clearance. The SSN is usually mailed to the mailing address you gave on the form. I am talking about the process in El Paso , Texas.Standard mail 10 days.
