Just $50 for a power bank This can buy another phone

Good quality power banks are not cheap.
I have the 20,000mah version of that Aukey ($31) and it is really good.

If you see any cheap powerbank claiming high capacity like 20,000mah for 5k, it is most likely a lie...

I only got it to use it for my tablet and small gadgets like mifi, bluethooth speaker, earpiece and all those small small things.
My RN4 rarely needs it.

Picked up this baby from Noobody yesterday. Its quite an awesome device, the Note 4X. The only downside to it is the fact that I can't use both my sims and SD card all together in the slot (as only two slots can be accommodated at a time)

The phone is super fast and handy.
Hope you have successfully inserted the hybrid sim adapter?

Don't know a lot about processors but i know SD625 is a 14nm processor(smaller is better). SD 820 and 821 are also 14nm processors. Also, app developers don't discriminate between chipsets, they drop support for obsolete android runtimes, that's why a 2018 low end phone would run some apps that a 2013 flagship can't run. Apps are going to run well on it for years(especially with OTA updates) coz it takes about 5 years before Android versions go obsolete.

The one you have, does it support pass through charging?

I mean can you charge a device with the power bank, while the power bank itself is charging.

I have noticed some power banks don't support this, which renders the power bank useless while it's being charged

Gsmarena's conclusion on the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

I disagree tho, it's worth the upgrade from Note 4

Why charging devices with the power bank while charging same?

TIPS & TRICKS 2
Did you know you can schedule and customise your silent/DND feature on your device? You love your quiet time that much that you don't want any sound/activities to disturb/jeopardise it or a routine meeting with your boss and you want no embarrassment? Try this.
Settings > Sound & vibration > Silent/DND > schedule turn on time > ➕ (lower screen) > schedule as desired.

You can have as many scheduled silence/DND as possible.

You can configure your DND feature by clicking on it and toggle as necessary.

Yes, you can charge a device with the power bank while the power bank itself is charging. However, I have not ascertained whether it will prolong the charging time of the power bank beyond the usual 10hrs. But I think it will have some impact in that regard.

The powerbank has an artificial intelligence feature.
When your device (phone) is fully charged, the power bank will turn off.

It's a plus, cos you could be charging a device with a power bank and step out or fall asleep. When light is restored, it ensures your device keeps charging. And you don't have to be unplugging your devices from the power bank and plugging to mains each time light is restored.

I once had xiaomi power bank that had this feature and it was a life saver

And if your fast asleep nko? Or you stepped out, remember it's not only phone that you'll probably take along with you when stepping out you charge with power bank.

So many gadgets you may need to charge unattended

Yeah...I see your point.
But won't it stress the power bank and affect the batteries on the long run?

It's a pass through technology. The device is being charged with light source from the mains and not the power bank battery once there's light

China is the future,

Even USA knows it,and honestly they are intimidated bout that fact.

China is not avoidable,no phone OEM can boast of profit without china involved,if apple was produced in the usa,it wud cost 3 times expensive than it is now
