It's not. Lagos is one hour drive to Ibadan, yet Lagos and Ibadan have standard airports. Benin is more than two hours drive to Onitsha, so Benin and Onitsha both deserve standard airports. If you don't like others to progress, then kindly carry your Onitsha on your head and move it to Cameroon.
