it now reads 1.2gb when i clear n close everything

Not surprised with the numbers coz it's the same with my Samsung J7, it's the real life usage that is disappointing. The 2GB ram(Camon CX, Infinix Hot 5) phones i've used with less ram to work with don't perform that poorly.

Now i have removed Memory and MIUI optimization in developer mode. Let me observe for a while.
