lollll, one is even 32gb while the other is 64gb. Even the note 4 Sd (4/64gb) isn't up to 70k.

After over 3-Wks with The Redmi Note 5, the only thing I can tell you is to give @Noobody (He's my trusted & confirmed expert partner here) or any other expert you're comfortable with here, an urgent call & cash to get you yours ASAP.

RN5 is definitely worth upgrading to over RN4 & capable enough to fulfill all your daily normal needs from a mobile phone. D margin btw RN5 and those flagships isn't wide enough to justify the extra cost you'd be reqd to pay for it.

One has dual rear camera while the other has just one. The one with the dual camera uses a better processor. The one with the better processor is the better one. The better one is the Redmi note 5 (Chinese version).

No sir, you need to unlock your bootloader by applying for permission here http://en.miui.com/unlock/

Only then will you be able to move over to global rom.
I have been given permission to unlock my bootloader. Kindly guide me on how to go about this. It's a bit techy for me

All this 18:9 aspect ratio sef angry new phones are getting way longer jawe! We wey get small hand now wey still dey manage 5.5" 16:9 don enter am embarassed and please don't recommend the redmi 5, the components are too watered-down, especially the battery capacity and screen resolution.
Xiaomi took one step forward and two steps backwards on the redmi 4(prime) to redmi 5 upgrade.

Before some of you start lecturing me on how HD+ screen will be okay on the battery for redmi 5, kindly remember the redmi 4 prime didn't exactly fair better than the redmi note 4 with the same processor, same battery capacity and with an advantage on the screen front i.e. 5" 1080p to 5.5" 1080p.

I want to order a protective case for redmi 5 plus but don't want to wait a whole month or more for it. Is there express delivery for such little things?

And how do I know the ones that I can get via express delivery?

fantilopezzy:

No I've not. But, all I can say is for the price, you'd find it very hard getting a better mid-range phone with value to performance ratio. And against many of the flagships out there, it'd be more like Toyota Camry V6 Vs Lexus R350 comparison. Same engine capacity & capabilty but different packagings @diff. price-points for different customers demographics.

If you want flagship, go for Mix-2S & if U don't give a damn go for RN5 (6GB/64GB prime version like me). grin
