Hi everyone, somebody directed me to this thread and I've gotten lot of information about Xiaomi here. My reservation is just about the warranty. Most time you buy phone even here in Nigeria and within short time it brick without having anything to do to it.

If there is a way information can get to Xiaomi to see the need to have a service center in Nigeria, it would have been good. Seeing the number of Nigerians using this product can motivate them and its an avenue for expansion. Who Tecno and Infinix help but because of their stupid service center (where they will be attending to you like they are helping you) people tend to buy their products much.

From the look of it, I may join Xiaomi club soon just that I'm confused on what to choose base on my budget.

Goto settings - installed apps -
At the top right of ur screen. Select the 3 dots and hit "show all apps"
Then scroll down or search for app named "Files"
Select it... After selecting...look below ur screen and "Enable"
...
If successful go back and try to move,the permission with grant u options to allow or reject...just allow...

It should, its been long I updated, works best with developer roms and you need root privilege.

You don't really need a physical service centre, there is a temming community here already. All your questions and enquires if not 100% will be answered here. If it's something beyond your control, I'm sure someone may volunteer come check it out.
