This is it.. Devs optimize games for iPhone more than Android since they earn more from them,... But on a lvl playing field,.. No offence, a11 chip dey creep for adreno... Nothing beats it....that's the fact.
And what exactly will be the level playing field? undecided Putting in mind the bolded if I were to consider a mobile device for smooth ish free gaming experience what device will be reasonable to choose?
Note: the argument here is on normal flagship android devices and top of the line iphones not the recently introduced Android gaming devices.

In addition, there are so many other top applications that are only available or better still work better on the iOS platform i.e some sound mixing/recording apps for studio quality sound editing.
On the gpu front you've been repeating, the adobe photoshop editing app and others like that are just better on iOS no argument on that.

The main reason why this will continue to be the case for android is because of fragmentation of the OS (how many android devices are already on OREO and android P will soon be released, too many devices to manage, different chipset from different manufacturers etc etc.

Lvl playing field would be antutu or slingshot gpu test... Since it tests the gpu for raw performance capabilities.. Because while more devs optimize for apple, some also optimize more for the Androids adreno as they seek to draw out the raw power from these adreno devices. But u gat to admit, adreno is better than the rest.. Don't you.? I agree apple is better than the rest in cpu... But gpu.... Not even close to the adreno

Have you been able to unlock?

Nah, I've not, as I was about clicking unlock, na so I see warning that e go clear my data, not ready for that, as I just downloaded some crazy games, like MC5, PUBG, Asphalt, etc, going to 15gb, I'm yet to back up.
But I was able to install drivers and when I boot into fastboot and signed onto the unlock app on my pc, it detected my phone and d unlock key was click-able, I'll do it after backing up my data.

There are like 3 gpu chipsets, Apple a11, Nvidia Tegra, mali and adreno... None of these comes close to the adreno, exclusive to the snapdragon. I'd say go for the s9+ powered by snapdragon 845....not the exynos version as it's gpu is powered by mali.
The sd845 is mad, no throttling, no overheating, mad raw power. Cpu performance has almost reached it's crescent in mobile phones, for the gpu, it's still getting der, it's just for the devs to create a mad game that can actually tap into the raw power of the adreno.

What are u saying sef? Does Android make games? Developers do. And like I have said before... Adreno is better than the rest, which one are u arguing for? Also btw there are multifarious games out there that are way more fun to play on android than iPhone so wats your argument? The myth that iPhone runs games better than Android is myth, a sham and a mirage. There are many games that you'll run on the iPhone and you'll see frame drop... Not on flagship adreno... wink

Guys, I'm beginning to have issues with my Note 4 4+64g oh... It lags at will. Imagine having 400mb left of 4gb with only 6 apps open.

It is beginning to slow down unnecessary, apps don't open immediately I tap them, browser don't keep previous page when I minimise, they have to reload the page. It's beginning to frustrate me oh.. I've uninstalled some apps, installed greenify still no improvement. I suspect some things are taking up ran in the background, but I can't figure what. Any solution?

Greenify? Is your phone rooted?

Another high point for Iphones is that they usually have smaller RAM(Iphone X - 3GB) than Android flagships but the UX is very smooth.

China post small shipping is just erratic I swear grin grin, even if na camel them use ship am
I ordered a USB cable in January after waiting 60days I had to open a dispute, funny enough last week the post office man called me that I have 3 items whereas I was expecting only 2 but then I knew it had to be the cable. I have messaged the store, I will have to pay them.

Just watch vids ife posted earlier, S9 6GB Ram IPho X 3GB Ram

On d first test Iphone took d lead, on reloading all app over again S9 took d lead which was d 2nd test

And each of d reviewer agreed d 6GB ram was an added advantage to S9

d koko is i love bigger phones and d design of S9 is impressive since, for performance both are going almost head to head i will take d S9 over iPhone x

Having both baby won't b bad ohhh

Hehe, I actually just kept quiet.. I saw his view and I knew it's not worth the argument. Imagine dropping speed test video to compare gaming. iPhone 6S will still run any 2018 game at max with decent 40-60Fps talkless of other versions. Even android 2016 will still stutter badly. You don't game on mobile that's why, pick any iOS device and pick any 2018 flagship.. Run them at max settings, you'll be amazed at level of more detail and more enhancement yet it'll run smoother, FPS wise on the iOS. Asphalt 9 has ben soft released on iOS, Fortnite, even Pubg was on iOS long before it came to android. There are lot of games still only exclusive for iOS and not yet on android, there's a reason why. Check your top YouTubers who game on mobile, if you find any gaming on android platform|good luck|. Even razer that its main feature was the 120Hz has been on the iPad pro before it was produced, and for the benchmark ISH and Ram that some are posting,it that's your basis for android being better.. I laugh grin
I'm no apple fanboy, yes you prefer android doesn't mean iphones are complete trash. When it comes to anything gaming/video, bro iOS is litt.

iPhone has been bossing in gaming/video department right from day 1.. yes day 1

Some people will just carry arguments to a different topic..

Ifedith only said adreno is the best mobile GPU out there, then some folks start talking trash...

Adreno Raw performance is better than Apple GPU, facts he was correct...

We all know Apple has a maximum RAM of 3GB on Phones, And now most Android has 8GB RAM on phones..

Some folks will still say trash that 3GB ram is better than 8GB or RAM..

Or saying 2700Mah is better 3300mah...

Argument closed smiley

Unto the next one, Peace

First of all, that was a speed test to show that iPhone x isn't the top dog. Secondly, i posted another pic wer the benchmark results showed that the adreno wan destroy a11. If you read my comments very well you'll understand why devs prefer ios, simple... Money, not because of raw power. Thirdly mobile gaming isn't for true gamers... Take it or leave it. I have played a whole lot of games om my phone that I've realized it's just not worth it since fifa 15 - 16. Also, if you bring the ipad pro into the picture, I'd simply bring the Intel surface pro 4. Pls stick to the narrative, even the iPhone x doesn't have the 120hz... tongue. Also the scenario of putting any 2018 flagship to ios device with the hope that it'll best the s9+ snapdragon 845 is in lay man terms laughable. grin. IPhone has got nothing on the adreno... Simple as facts.
The facts is as stated below
1. devs choose iPhone cus of money
2. Adreno is the most powerful gpu on mobile before, now amd tomorrow.
3. A11 is theoretically the best cpu on paper but irl it's being bested by other mobile phones.
4.there are also exclusives on Android.
