I was shocked while playing a video game (Dues Ex) over the weekend. While trying to view some of the files on a computer (one of the missions in the game), I came across this mail in the 4th picture.

Everyone across the world know Nigerians as internet fraudsters, even game developers. Such a pity.....what a generation!

I'm not fvcking playing this game. Everyone wants to make Nigerians seem like the worst people on earth. It's as stupid as the tribal stereotypes Nigerians feed on.

The one major issue I have with a lot of Nigerians is their hypocrisy and refusal to be honest.

Majority of Nigerians are very greedy, dishonest and will rip you off given the slightest opportunity, so why the fuss when other countries who we have exported our frauds to complain?

It's good that everyone is on their toes and watching out for Nigerian scammers, maybe we could finally have the conversation about scams in Nigeria.

As we like to say in the local parlance - "mugu fall guy man chop"

This is not to say that citizens of other nations do not engage in these things but when you gain notoriety for an act, it means it has gotten out of hand.

your question is quite stupid, cos it ignorantly asserts that refuting the idea that fraud is a strictly Nigerian thing, is the same as supporting fraud.

Get some sense jare.

Every country has negative stereotypes .

Trust me Germans have been portrayed more as Nazis than Nigerians have as fraudsters in games and pop culture . Still sucks tho .

Our last born at home was watching Nickelodeon when they made mockery of the Nigerian scam on a kiddie program.

I was like 'even in kids shows?'

There was also similar in the original deus ex not just fraud there was also one about a Nigerian singer with bots and some news about Nigeria political affairs. The first deus ex was just amazing.
