I got my redmi 5 plus at the inception of this month and I must say I'm not impressed with the battery life at all.

Despite using battery saving mode always. my device hardly uses 9 hours. my data that is sometimes set to 2g is not always on. and I always make sure I clear apps I'm not using from running in the background.
what do you guys suggest I do to get more juice? I'm running miui 9.5.2.0 stable.

Some have said clearing apps sometimes leads to battery draining as the processor would require more power to restart them again. But if you clear them and your battery improves, then good for you
