Looks more like "fufu".

Doesn't it spoil?

How long before it spoils?

Does it not smell?

it is not exactly processed Akpu but very very close to it with even better qualities in that, it does not smell, it digest very fast so you can eat it any time of the day even at night, it is not heavy and you just need only boiled water to prepare it such that you dont heat it over the stove. after preparation, the taste is between pounded yam and fufu

You would agree with me that every food spoils but the rate is only what differs. For spoilage or shelf life, it is minimum 7 months but i can assure you that the product last very well up to one year. for smell, it does not smell, though has a unique scent but not pungent just like your Akpu or fufu.
