A new product has been launched recently.

The Sales survey has been completed and the trial runs concluded.

The company now seeks very serious minded Investors to register as Distributors from at different levels and in various locations within Lagos State.

The distributorship opportunity comes in different categories;

1. Key Account Distributor

2. Territorial Distributor

3. Sub – Distributors

I will explain the requirements, operational focus and initial investment outlay required for the different categories.

KEY ACCOUNT DISTRIBUTOR!
The Key Account Distributor as the name indicates will be a major mover of the product in his or her location. This distributorship will cover a specified sales region and within those boundaries no one else may sell that particular product(s). I will here provide an on ground illustration of what a region implies at least in a geographical sense.

If we have a key Account Distributor located in Ikeja, he/she will be in charge of all sales of the specific product within the region which spans; Ikeja proper (Ikeja GRA, Ipodo, Olowu,, Oba Akran up to Guinness/Mobil roundabout, Opebi, Allen, Toyin, Anifowoshe, Adeniyi Jones, Alausa, Oregun, Ikosi Road up to 7UP/ Motor Ways building and Agidingbi up to First Gate Bus Stop.

To qualify as a Key Account Distributor, interested applicants must already have the following;

1. An existing shop/warehouse in a central location in the desired region.

2. Must have the financial capacity to order for goods worth 1 Million Naira in one fell swoop.

3. Must have an already existing customer base in the chosen region.

4. Must already have a distributorship structure in place within the region.

Only 16 key Account Distributors are required in the entire Lagos.

Return on investment here is a minimum of Five Percent (5%) per investment cycle.


TERRITORIAL DISTRIBUTORSHIP
This level of distribution requires active players who must know and understand their territory of choice. They will be assigned specific geographic catchments and they will be expected to redistribute the products within those confines. We intend to approve a fixed number of distributors within a given Sales Region.

SUB-DISTRIBUTORS
These constitute the last mile distributors on the chain.
They are those who operate in certain territories without Distributors.

In the company design, Ojota and its environs together with Ogudu (Pako and Ramat) and Orioke constitiute a sub-distributorship. Ikosi-Ketu, Shangisha and Magodo phase 2 is another illustration of what a sub-distributorship covers.

The percentage varies depending on the volume of purchase.
