I see a lot of sense in this opinion you have shared.
If you would not mind, Is Master's Certificate from Open University Acceptable for this EE journey?

I remember seeing 1 or 2 people here saying they used NOUN PGD plus their bsc to claim 1 or 2 degrees. pls search this thread thoroughly.

HELP PLEASE!

I applied for the USA Visiting visa using my Dad's Company as he was sponsoring my trip and my company was not ready to provide a reference letter and however, my visa was denied. Now that I am about to submit my Canada Application for Permanent residency visa, I want to disclose my current company. my Question is, will it be known to Canada that I have used another company(Dad's company) for my USA application as I read it online that they both (USA & Canada) shared Database for Visa purpose. Kindly help me as job responsibility is totally different from both applications. In addition, is there any impact of Visa rejections on Canada permanent residence application

Good, all the best.

Thank you very much.....I did and get 458 with his IELTs.....would do that

uote author=pejuhazel post=75583465]Hi, why don't you simulate your score with your spouse's IELTS alone without masters, if the score is sufficient I don't think you should stress yourself with WES.
For the POF, you can only get 25% of your pension fund and for the rest, a gift deed is sufficient.

Yes, it is equivalent to canadian diploma.
funlola87:
Hello people... I'm currently on a CRS of 432 so I intend to start a diploma to be able to have an additional certificate. It's a Professional Diploma in Education run by FCE Akoka. It runs for two semesters and a maximum of 40 credits is stipulated for the two semesters, including teaching practice. I'm about to pay the fees on Monday but i don't know if WES would evaluate it as equivalent to Canadian diploma. Is there a way I can know before going ahead with it?

Good morning everyone

Please I need advice on application for EE
I will be the principal applicant for a family of 3 because I am 26years ( 27 in April) , I have a master's degree and 6years working experience..... Although I haven't written IELTS yet, I hope to write by April or May

When I put in my information with spouse Master and IELTS with 7band across board the score is 468....
With master's and no iELTS 452

My questions are;

1. Spouse certificate for master's isn't ready because Lautech has not done convocation for his set and won't be 5ill November or December this year....is it ok to use his notification of result for evaluation with Wes? If no, can he evaluate his b.tech and ND Alone......just worried

2. When I resign from my current work , my pension only covers 25percent of the POF and I read from the page that only 25percent of pension funds can be released immediately after voluntarily retirement.......Does it means I can only use 25percent of my pension fund or all as POF?.....

The rest will come from my dad, brother and our joint money ... Will getting POF from different sources be an issue for us?... Hopefully before we get ITA......

I would be glad if I can get anyone with contact at University of ibadan to fast track my master transcript and verification as well.

I will be glad if I can get a response from anyone or someone with a similar case because am just worried about the POF and hubby evaluation without certificate.....

Have a lovely day.....I hope those waiting for thier golden mail gets PPR soonest .....
Thank you

With your Masters, age and work experience, you don't even need to stress your spouse. Without his ECA and without him writing IELTS, your CRS is at 442 - more than sufficient to get you an ITA.

You can only use 25% of your pension as POF.

Having POF from different sources is not a problem. Just get gift deeds from all of them.

If your university is not proactive in getting WES verifications done, and you're not sure of getting a contact to help with verification, you might want to consider using other ECA bodies. Neither ICES nor CES require verifications and members of this thread have successfully used them to get their ECAs done within 3 months.

Can anyone please help me with this?
I just submitted my profile and it says I'm ineligible to apply despite meeting the 67 point criteria and with my CRS above 460.
The POF I entered is above required amount. I entered 3 years of work experience + 30 hours a week.
Any ideas?
I might be wrong but I think it's the hours/week.

Yes, they will have access to your entire US application and all the information you filled therein. Just come clean and tell the truth. Declare your real company.

No, there is no impact of visa rejections on your Canadian PR application.

galibat, this is your best bet, no need for your spouse to write IELTS or do ECA. just ensure you get the required IELTS score

I'm guessing some people do, if you're going to buy results for English test from someone at least make sure the person can spell.

I will suggest her spouse writes ielts or evaluates his degree to increase their score and be on a safe side.... By the time she's ready to enter the pool, nobody knows whether 442 will still be a good score.. Last draw was able to get to 438 because it was back to back. ...

It's up to her laslas, but with 442, ITA is assured. Even if the cutoff is high the first time, all you have to do is wait for the next one and it will definitely drop. That 75k can solve a lot of other needs.

They actually can get information on your application. But don't stress yourself as you only need to truthfully and accurately answer fill your Canada EE form, including the refusal.

Happy Sunday everyone, I recently applied for a remark with British Council and someone advised on this platform that one should send a mail to info@cambridgeassessment.org.uk and copy BC Nigeria. I sent the follow-up mail but I received a reply from the former that they have nothing to do with remark. Please is there another way I can follow up on the remark?

Thanks Fam

Good day all

Please for evaluation of ones credentials, which should be sent for evaluation, transcript or certificate. Since I have my certificate from university.

Secondly, my date of birth on my transcript is different from that on my passport. Bearing in mind that for the evaluation of credential, the data page of ones passport is needed, can I go ahead with the evaluation?

Hello everyone, please I need help. I want to try for this express entry thing, I have written ielts yesterday and I am waiting for my result but I don't have any valid work experience in my field, I only have NYSC, does anybody know how possible it is to use that as work experience? I would have found a way to get work experience but I have been travelling a lot in and out of african countries and my passports have been stamped, what can I do please?

I am using 31 here, just in case ECA delays you till after your birthday.
Your family's CRS without stressing wifey with ECA or IELTS = 432
CRS with wife doing ECA alone (bachelor's degree), no IELTS = 440
CRS with your wife writing IELTS alone, no ECA and scoring 6 in all modules = 444
CRS with wife doing both ECA (Bachelor's) and IELTS (6 across the board) = 452

My Opinion:
1. If you or wifey has a sibling in Canada that you can claim points from, then she should not bother with ECA or IELTS.
2. If there's no sibling in the equation, she should write IELTS alone and not bother about ECA. I'm pretty sure she will score better than 6 each in LRWS and 444+ is a very good score to fetch ITA. Besides, 75k (68k with MOD) is cheaper than the cost of ECA fee + school transcript request + courier fees. Also two weeks wait for IELTS result (or 3 days with CBT) is shorter than months for ECA.
