budaatum:
Oh my! That fire better not spread to the eba joint (the green and red shop next door run by an Igbo woman), or jump across the road to the chemist and my house o.

I'm certain this fire spread here from Notre Dame. It must be the gods day off.

It wasn't funny anyway, but thank God no life was lost in the incidence (apart from his property with his own personal room alone). Humanly view one will blame him for not putting off every switch in his room while he's away, but it's still surprising that the fire emanated right from his own bedroom where he lay's every night to sleep (lucky for him he's out of the country, otherwise). That might be an attack anyway as the family members were saying... ...

Still on this, I must say Nigeria lacks a proper town planning (even, a big cutie like Lagos), other buildings would been affected by this fire out break if not for the fact that the incidence happened before the dark hour of the evening...

Can you imagine, a country like Nigeria doesn't have an emergency road, even Nigerians don't recognize emergency vehicles on the road to give them passage, chaiiiiii... At least this would have ease the coming of the firebrigadians to rescue the building than the late time they arrived...

Nigeria, which way we dey go na

Don't blame the masses for not making way for emergency vehicles. The Politicians, Government Officials and emergency vehicle operators have abused that privilege. The incessant use of siren is the cause. Politicians will use it to scare other motorist away from the road. Police will blow theirs without any reason. Emergency vehicles will use the siren for fun.
Now, tell me how road users will know the time there are really on a serious emergency?

That's cool... Mudashiru street I leave in. Same street where the palace is situated.
