Jamb is no determinant of brilliance, 85% of Nigerians used expo to pass it!

How did you measure the statistics? Just because your brain is full of fufu does not mean it is the same with everyone else.

no mind them. i empathise for the loss, but that kind of person did not even need to go to a Nigerian university.

with the numerous mind-bending obstacles that an average Nigerian student goes through, how him for take survive even one semester?

wow.... but honestly speaking.... THIS IS A SAD STORY..... 8 timesss?? This is terrible... YES ITS A GREAT NEWS HE GRADUATED.... but his age is no longer employable.... so IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?

The terrible mentality in Nigeria 10 years ago that UNIVERSITY degree is needed before one can secure a bright future has been exposed as a lie.

I hope he uses what he has learned to start business or travel abroad.

Dis is a lesson to all those mofos out their getting suicidal over ordinary exam results. If only they knew how many forst class graduates are riding keke and how many successful ppl didn't need their university or skool degrees.. Skool results shldnt determine ur success and failing isn't d end of d world.. If U fail try again and kip trying.. There's absolutely nothing wrong in dat
It's not as easy as you think bro. I wrote Jamb 5 times, those periods were hard bro.

His employable age is not the point here.He is motivating others to stay focused and win in the midst of all life challenges.
Always read in between the lines.Him bee worth a graduate is never your concern,do you know anything about his history and life's purpose?
Re: Man Who Attempted JAMB 8 Times, Graduates With 2nd Class Upper by Darevofpeace(m): 7:08am On May 18, 2019
I wrote Jamb for six years, my lowest score was 215 two of those result were withheld.
In the fifth year,I attempted suicide once.At the point of stabbing myself while in the kitchen,I saw a great LIGHT and I did saw JESUS and he spoke to me "You are a big fool for this attempt to kill yourself, you would loose all future admission and still go to hell. While would you take a life that was never yours? The voice was fearful, deep and so loud.
The funny thing was that all my siblings and parent were soundly asleep in there room.
My mates practically abandoned me as I was been referred to as a 'cursed boy'
I started registering for JAMB in the near by city where nobody could recognise me becos of shame and of not meeting known faces in the examination hall.
I am a graduate now,I am also employed by the Federal Government. I am also a motivational speaker now and about 140 of my personaly written articles are posted on nairaland.
Search my user name 'darevofpeace' all would pop out.
Every stages of life has it challenges, envying those who seems to have the beautiful things of life is like a mist.
Every human has something to hide and a looming shame which drives them crazy.
Until a man dies, before life battles ends.

You have to understand as human we all have different *elastic limit* .. What you can endure some people might not be able to endure 1/2 of it infact some people can commit suicide with 1/4 of what you have seen, it doesn't make them less of a human...

Also this comment above is the reason why we have higher level of suicide in this generation especially in Nigeria because no one is not ready to listen we all believe what ever problem you have, we have probably passed through worse and that's exactly is the problem with our generation, we are not ready to help.. When someone is going through hard time even though you have passed through the same situation don't take them lightly.. Listen to them and advice them.. That's the only. Money you can give.. Don't say "oga my own worse pass your own sef* ( that statement is common to Nigerian)

Back to the topic
I sincerely hope during the 8 years he's writing JAMB he was able to pick up a skill or two because that's 12 years of his life for 2nd class upper I really really appreciate his courage though, it's something I can never do..
Especially given the fact that he studied mass communication, that alone can't work in Nigeria or..

I really pray God reward his struggles because it won't be funny for him to still be looking for job..
HE IS A REAL GUY
Bros there's nothing like elastic limit, I wrote jamb 4 times, and a pre degree before getting admission, my mate were all graduating before I entered school did. Our upbringing these days and the society these days doesn't encourage hardwork, endurance and perseverance. remember before the advent of NECO people sit for WAEC more then 4 times before facing JAMB, was the rate of suicide this rampant? people should learn to face problem rather than looking for easy way out. Boyfriend dump u, d next tin na suicide, any any little thing suicide, wimps everywhere....
