Hi @tymix1. Got info about someone who was exempted from writing six papers from ACCA and he was able to verify the certificate, so I guess same would apply to CIMA also. Since WES recognise CIMA I dont think there would be any issue. PM me concerning the CIMA group.

tymix1:

Hi @vicolak, I’m in a very similar boat to this. Please have you gotten further information. I also hear there’s a WhatsApp group for CIMA prospectives. I will be very grateful if you can give me pointers on how to be added to this. Thank you.

@tymix1, see this also courtesy @haoakins

hayoakins:

I used ACCA certificate. I was exempted from 6papers out of the 14papers and still got it evaluated as 4years degree equivalent while my ND also as 2years diploma passing as two or more certificates. I did not evaluate my HND, it was taking my school eternity to provide transcript (change of system story) hence I emailed WES to remove HND and replace with ACCA.

For anyone who intend to evaluate HND, you cannot evaluate only HND as WES will request for the ND also as it serves as a prerequisite for HND.
Cheers

Read here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/archives/backgrounders-2012/immigration-information-sharing-treaty.html

You will have to attach an LOE to explain the discrepancy because they will find out.

Congrats to every one getting their PPR now and in advance. Please is it through USA and Canada share Visa informations I have a valid US visa and while filling the form i claimed a different job title from what i used to get my ITA for express entry. Would this be a problem? You guys know how one man business can be like....you can be doing 5 different roles in a company. Lol

grin grin grin @ bolded

My dear, anyone that is not ready to accept coaching from you because you're not religious or don't believe in spirituality is not ready for life in Canada grin

What about the Indians? Are they christians? But we follow Canadavisa and benefit. What concern us with Liz or Jay's belief in God? But we visit their sites and watch their ielts videos. Yet we are quick to judge our fellow Nigerians.

You owe absolutely no one an apology or explanation for your spiritual choices. Your approach works for you and that is all that matters. Carry go. Good work that you are doing with Ielts. Keep it up.
johnnybravo1990:

Ok bro. I’m not a religious person though. Well, all the glory to God if that makes you happy. But the philosopher in me says, ‘if we must give God all the glory/thanksgiving for every success we have, we must also give Him all the blame for all the failures where we worked so hard but still failed’. So my conclusion is this: there are some principles governed by natural phenomena such as hard work and success with a touch of luck; we mustn’t always put the ‘God concept’ in everything. There will always be successes and failures in life, but these are not attributed to one supernatural being above. I strongly feel God plays a very neutral role to many events in our lives. Any success we have can only be tied to our hardworking efforts and luck; God does not play any deliberate or active role in these successes. If God is always involved in our affairs, there would no suffering in the world, and earth would be paradise. I am only appreciative of the fact that God created a wonderfully organised universe which is in perfect order: there are days and nights, winters and summers, living organisms having perfectly designed physiological organs and systems which is exemplified in wound healing following an injury as well as gestation which culminates in parturition. But as regards the experiences or stories in our lives, I don’t include the ‘God factor’ as explanation of these events; the only causal factors I could attribute to our life stories are hard work and luck. Also, I don’t believe in spirituality.

I hope my personal beliefs don’t discourage people from seeking assistance from me in IELTS; you may not not like my approach to life, but I will advise you to get what you want from me and move on. wink

Congratulations. Since your hubby's experience is not Canadian, you don't have any point for it, so it can be in his personal history. With that, no need for NOC.

Gnomic5:
Good morning everyone, i just got my ielts result (first attempt) may 23

Please I need your help....my NOC IS 4011 because I am a university lecturer but my husnand js a polythecnic lecturer, Can he also claim the same NOC. .....wes hasn't sent our evaluation yet, so I would wait because scores with siblings point and without hubby's ielts is 470.....

If you use your bsc in finance degree during registration for Cima, you will be given exemption on ba1 to 3. Ba4 alone cannot qualify you for 2 or more certificate. So oga/madam use your waec/neco to register for cima without exemption to yield 2 or more certificate. Hope you understand my point.
tymix1:

Thanks for the response @candyce. Not sure it’s a WAEC/NECO issue, as I have a BSc and I want to augment this with another certificate to quality for more points. Unless I’m missing something....

1. We searched for flights (momomdo, travelstart, skyscanner, wakanow, jumia, Google flights, IOM). Google flights actually puts the fare on each day, so you'll get to know the cheapest day to fly/book.
2. Searched for apartments (Edmonton)
3. Searched bridging courses
4. Made list of foodstuffs to carry
5. Searched for jobs, updated our CV to Canadian standard
6. Decided on banks to use, phone network
7. Searched for daycare for our 2yr old
8. Searched for car to buy
9. Got familiar with Edmonton via Google maps, YouTube
10. Searched for hospitals
11. Asked different people about benefits we're entitled to in Edmonton

Please I have a question. My school says they have sent the verification to WES since Friday but WES is yet to update my page and it is still on hold. Can I send them a message to ask if the verification has been provided? Thanks

Guys, I Just want to appreciate most of you for sharing vital information here, even when its not convenient to capture every moment in a text format.

Please I'd like to ask for help, more of clarification / direction. i have a friend who has spent more than 10 years in Canada, he has offered that I present him as my distant cousin to get points under adaptability, but I honestly don't have any document to support that.

If you have experience, Kindly advise.

should I avoid my friends offer? I'd appreciate if you come out nice. i have seen some of your nice posts long before now.
