After looking at things critically, I guess nothing is lost much between Note 8 and Note 7.
The major points is the camera upgrade, the increase in RAM & ROM for the price and the CPU upgrade.

The GPU is the only let down. The Adreno 610 isn't bad at all but the Adreno 512 holds its ground. And thats going by the Samsung A70 reviews on GSMArena which coincidentally which compared that of the Note 7 GPU with Samsung A70.

I like the fact that Xiaomi produced an upgrade for a lesser price...even with better specs to boot.
This cannot be said for some other Chinese phone companies...if you know what I'm saying.

well i used r7 also and i updated like few days back , pls just have at least 1 gig data on your phone to download it...i almost exhausted y data doing so... the update comes with some info so you need to read up
