I read a book some years back, around 1999/2000, an interesting book . But I've forgotten the title, I know it's a long shot but I'll give a description of what little I can remember and hope someone can tell me it's title.

It's a collection of plays, all about the challanges faced by the average Nigerian woman.
One of the plays, which is the only one i remember is about a woman (single mum i think) that sells food using wheelbarrow to labourers in construction sites. I can also remember that the labourers were always trying to flirt with her.
The plays were probably all set somewhere around the 70s-80s, because the labourers always paid for their food in kobo.
Also, the plays were all set either in northern, western and Eastern Nigeria, i could remember this because the characters predominantly bore either hausa, yoruba or igbo names in either of the plays.
This is all I can remember.I know with the little information I gave, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. All i can do now is wait and be hopeful.

Was the husband planning to marry their daughter off? Did the son win a scholarship? Did they talk about owning a barbershop?
