Educated Nigerian youth don't like agruculture because they have been subtly groomed with the idea that it is for illiterates and never do wells.

But then again, 90% of Nigerian farmers are subsitence farmers. They don't earn a lot of money because they can't produce enough to do so. For every successful big time farmer, there are hundreds of poor , small time farmers. Many Nigerian youth refusing to embrace farming may be doing so because really the returns can be poor most of the time.
