They think they have seen lawsuit, let them make mistake and cancel EH......

Dem go tell me whether contract staff were prevented from applying in the last recruitment.

If u are a contract staff with insider knowledge and experience and u can't even scale past the hurdle that external candidates are passing successfully, then u should be sacked from even ur contract job, SHAMELESS PEOPLE!

Let them try it and see..........!

Amotekun writeup. Well done BenFlash. I love people who are blunt, constructive and articulate. No man is perfect!!! Jarus, please accept my sincere apologies. BenFlash is trying to be fair to his own conscience. It's better I disagree with to your face than to agree and disagree behind you. That's hypocrisy and that's what Oga Ben is trying to avoid!!. Oga Jarus you have been a great personality..however, we are all improving daily!!!

BenFlash:

Well, I would have liked it if you had completed the sentence. Stooped so low to do what? To tell Jarus that he could have done better?

I knew I was going to be against popular opinion since it concerns Jarus but let us face the fact:

1. Recall that localman @Gbriels got infuriated in September last year when @Jarus started giving us all the extra details about the "binding agreement" he had with his source which led to all kinds of PLEA for him to divulge what he knows , when he could have easily saved us the raucous by just saying there was no update in the first place.

2. This time around, he told us how he saw missed calls from his source since the previous day and was yet to call back for whatever reasons thereby generating another wave of PLEA for him to call his source. He could have just called the source and given the update about what has transpired without the in-between info.

In both cases, there was a wave of PLEAs. However, I chose not to consider it a petty behaviour like he ascribed but "slip ups" based on his reputation. I know he likes saying everything as it is (no filter) which I consider to be his weakness. No one is perfect.

As much as he is trying to help us with updates which I truly appreciate by the way, he needs to improve on his information dissemination skill as compared to the likes of Panalyst and co., make it direct to the point. No in-between stories (excess info) to make it intriguing.

Las Las, I respect and like Jarus, this is not to spite him like most of his fans would think hence calling for my head. A little bit of constructive criticism will not kill him.

You don't understand the bureaucracy. Someone worked for about 20 years more or less in the NNPC, he is now to be retired. Knowing the amount of wealth he has acquired in the organization over the years, he chooses to plant his relatives in the NNPC and the cycle continues.
That's the reason why it is difficult for a daugther/son of a nobody to even smell the opportunity talkless of getting the job.

I feel sad when I see people here attacking the likes of Jarus, Panalyst and co rather than channelling their greviances towards the NNPC official social media handles.

Recently, most companies are now wary of bad publicity on social media. You guys should question the status quo of the organization regarding their message and practice about the TAPE agenda but you will rather tear each others apart instead.

grin Honestly, I have enjoyed this thread from d beginning, I was here since the day Dmainman posted this,....such fun memories , Unfortunately it's being over 7 months, and nothing from NNPC, To my observations they don't seem serious at all.

They believe everyone is after the money they are paying, so they can threat us anyhow. This seriously offends me personally.

So, if you like keep the APL till next year or whenever or just give it to ur friends & politicians. Last last none of us will live FOREVER.

My NNPC RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCE

I was heavily pregnant awaiting my due date, I got a pop up notification from a job site I had signed up to, I was like nah, Naija govt. undecidedwell lemme see what they're up to this time, I created an account with the career portal and the time was counting down 6hours+ to end of application, I already had almost all my documents scanned and on my phone so I followed through the application pretty much swiftly. I was feeling great that I didn't just nudge it aside, besides I didn't even break a sweat applying. AfterwardsI decided to have my scanned documents uploaded to my cloud in case I lost my phone or something, as I went to my files, I discovered I had uploaded thumbnails while applying and not the real documents, wtf! Where did the thumbnails even come from smh! It was a long shot anyways I concluded and forgot all about it.
The following month I delivered (praise be to God!) I was still seriously adjusting to this huge transition (from a young lady to a mom) when outta nowhere I got notification for CBT, damn! these people though, well maybe God and the universe is telling me something! I prepared myself the much my condition allowed me to, took my baby with help from my hubby and a friend to my centre, which was kinda close. I was hella impressed with the level of organisation I met there regardless of the crowd spread across different time schedules. After the test I was eager to go back to my baby, We went home and again I forgot all about it.
Then that fateful morning from nowhere came the invite for interview WHaT!!! These guys might be serious after all, I remember my excitement at seeing that invite. But then I went melancholy as I remembered I had to travel all the way from my state to Abj with my 2months and 2weeks old by road(cos well, we couldn't afford to fly) damn! But my hubby(man like him) Pat me on the shoulder and gave me the much needed encouragement that we will do it(through God who strengthens us).
I got myself ready and we embarked on that journey two days before my interview day to allow us(especially my baby) settle in properly.
Ps. This was my first time in the capital and mahn! the roads are out of this country! shocked
We got to the towers on that day like two hours before my time(well I like to be thorough wink) I spent a good chunk of that time looking at my baby and envisaging all the ways her life would be better than mine if I got this job!(a girl's allowed to fantasize cool).
It was time, we got ushered in and once more the organization was a notch better than the CBT's. However we spent so much time at the auditorium where we waited for an usher designated to our panel to come get us, at this stage we had spent 2hours+ in there, I was mad worried about my baby whom I had on an exclusive breastfeeding plan plus we hadn't spent this much time apart before(separation anxiety kicked in hard), eventually candidates for my panel were called and we were ushered up by the nice young lady (she tipped us to expect the HSE question how to ensure your safety in a work environment, nice of her though unethical) just as we came up and the panel was done with the interviewee inside, they all stepped outside where the panel chairman introduced himself and told us that they were leaving for lunch break, damn! My baby must be wailing by now cry. I thought to myself, I put a call through to my hubby who tried to assure me all was well with them( I knew him well enough to hear through his white lies) God! undecided
Finally they returned after an hour+ but I still had three more people to go before me. My interview started with a hitch as my mind and heart weren't in that complex anymore, I fumbled with my first question which was course related but the rest of if the four questions I think I did pretty well in, even managed to throw a sarcasm somewhere in-between that had us all share a laugh and hugely calm my nerves.
At the end, I dedicated that interview to my little one who in my opinion bore the most brunt of it and handed it over to God.

Been to a couple of interviews afterwards but always got knocked out because I have an infant at hand and they don't want compromise. But I'm still positive and grateful for the journey thus far, my little one is few months shy of one year and we're still at it. We praise God! we move! grin grin

Nice one. If I am among the chosen ones, I will tell my story (with different pictures). If not, no show. I go delete the pictures sharply.
