Drawing close to GOD during crisis is referred to as, seeking GOD under duress.
The majority of us do this all the time, even those that don’t believe GOD exist.
But where was GOD when things were going smooth for you, perhaps, you dumped him in the backyard, but when crisis shows up, You go back the yard to seek Him, then, we want to draw close to GOD.

John 9:31
We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will

Anyone that’s a child of GOD, will always be a priority of GOD. And what gives you the right to GOD, is salvation, until you’re saved, until you’re born of GOD you can’t overcome crisis. GOD answers to those who are established in Christ Jesus. You can’t access the loaded virtues of salvation until you go through the saving door “JESUS.”
