How Lucrative Is International Relations Course In Nigeria? by mrmattolanrewaju(m): 8:45pm On Sep 07, 2020
Hello nairalanders!

Is international relations (diplomacy) an advisable course to be studied in Nigeria?

What are the job opportunities attached to it after graduation and how lucrative is it too?

Please I'd love to hear your views and suggestions as regards this.

Thanks.

History and diplomacy/international relations is a good course but the Nigerian system does not value it. In saner climes, diplomats are sought after and appreciated unlike the situation in Nigeria.

Dont watse your time, go for science courses

Studying international relations and diplomacy is a waste of time in Nigeria, because to be a diplomat in Nigeria is rather political rather than what you study, if you are lucky after graduation to work with the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs then you might end up be a career diplomat but other than studying international relations is a waste of school fees

Job opportunities

Nigeria military
NGOs
Ministry Of foreign Affairs
