I love to see brown roof everywhere, it shows our heritage and culture. We AFONJA'S are proud to be called. OBO IDANRE, meaning IDANRE MONKEY.

Olorun , this place is breath taking, if done properly it can serve as tourism also, and the locals can benefit from tourists from Nigeria, I would like to visit one day, beautiful place.

oh nice...Idanre is a Local Government Area in Ondo State and not located in Akure.

Idanre Hills is suppose to huge revenue to Ondo State government on Tourism but was neglected by the government.

There so many other places on hills like magic footstep, Noah'Ark etc.

You can say that again.. I'm visiting the hills once more by next month. But Idanre hills is not in Akure but Idanre LGA.

Op point of correction.Idanre is entirely different from Akure,is an independent town on his its own for thousand years.my grandfather was buried up there on that hill,u got almost d rest of information correctly.
We don't have a good tourism spirit in this part of d world hence Idanre would have be a good source of revenue for Govt.kudos for job well done in showcasing Idanre hills to d world��
