Football could be confusing sometimes. I mean those series of goalscoring opportunities that man city had today would have been converted against other teams but they just wouldn't go in against man utd, as if they used jazz on man city players today

Winning UCL is more of luck. If Man City converted their missed chances today the result would been the other way round. Today's football wasn't about the result, it was a matter of how fast can we catch man City and start winning trophies. We can win city for next three seasons but we can't win the league with this style of play.

It seems you watched a different match. Man city did not create any clear chances today in this match unlike United. What if Martial had scored that fine chance in the second half or Luke Shaw used his stronger foot for that chance in the first half. United had a game plan and they executed it perfectly.

Guardiola needs to find a way behind this style of play that Ole uses against his team everytime. The style where your opponents sit back, soak up pressure and then hit you on the counter and out of the blue, they score while you toil, pass the ball up and down the length and breath of the field and then dance around the opponent's goal yard throughout the duration of the game without scoring even a goal. This style has been on for over ten years now since Mourinho's reign at inter Milan. He brought it to the epl where other coaches copied and remodeled it. Ole employs this style against Man City and it always works for him especially in the league season in season out. If he really wants to cement his place as the best coach of this era, he needs to something about it.
