Car Talk / The ES Peugeot Engine Oil: 5w-40 Vs 10w-40 by Ikenna351(m): 1:30am On Mar 07 |
The early PRV engines were noted with failures (Camshafts wear) on the ones mounted on the '70 Volvos, including some of their early '80s 700 series, especially the B27 & B28 engines. But for some reason, Renault & Peugeot cars with the same PRV didn't suffer the same issue, at least, that i heard off. Some claimed it was caused by engine oil recommended, while the rest blamed the Swedish engineers for not getting the cylinder heads in theirs right, unlike the Peugeot & Renault engineers. By the time the Swedish engineers got it right in their improved PRV engine in the late '80s, the B280, the PRV reputation in Volvo was already tarnished that they had to pull out from the venture, leaving Peugeot & Renault to continue in the joint V6 engine production, hence, the PR V6 Engines. The PR ES V6 engines had a major shift from the predecessors (PRV) in the early '90s since the PRVs were 90° V6, while the PR ES engines were 60° V6, among other designs change. However, some users still consider bottom part of the engine of both as the same, at least, similar. Hence, they believe the ES engines were meant to run only with the same oil with the PRV. Their opposition is not with the 10w-40 that both PRV & PR engines were recommended to use, but with the 5w-40, especially the last PR engine produced and mounted in Peugeots in the late '00, the ES9A V6 engine. Some PR ES9J4 V6 Engine users do project onto the ES9A, that since the bottom of ES9A & ES9J4 are the same, then only 10w-40 oil must be used on ES9A, and they are terrible wrong. As an owner of 2 ES9A V6 engines, I can authoritatively emphasise again how wrong they are. 5w-40 remained the best oil Peugeot recommended for that engine, not because of what Peugeot said, but because of observable reality called facts, even with the shortcomings of running the 5w-40 on ES9A (will come to that later). As most, if not all ES9A users must have experienced, the engine makes an uncomfortable annoying loud friction sound at cold start, almost every single time, and goes away till engine becomes dead cold again (like about 10 hours or more after switching off engine). Some claimed the VTC sprockets are the culprit. Some concluded the camshaft rockers are. Whichever the cause is, it's one of the downsides of owning ES9A. I would be surprised if yours hasn't started. However, when you run 10w-40 in it, the noise tends to be frequent even when engine is very hot (like 10 minutes or less after switching off a hot ES9A), and even sounds louder and last longer than the 5w-40 does. The ES9A engine note isn't aggressive as the early PRVs it replaced, but it has the V6 signature as the rpm climbs towards the red zone. But at idle when the engine is hot, you would only know the engine is running when you look at the tachometer or peep at the Auxiliary belt chamber under the hood. That's how quiet the ES9A usually is with 5w-40, which unfortunately you will lose when on 10w-40. It doesn't mean 10w-40 is bad for the engine. It simply means it's not the best for it. The ES9J4S V6 engine (the direct predecessor of the ES9A) doesn't care much if it's running on 5w-40 or 10w-40, even though its successor does. Just because they all share the same bottom (all the ES engines) doesn't mean the cylinder heads are the same. The 5w-40 is best for ES9A, even in temperate or hot countries. We experience 35° - 45° Celsius sometimes here in Abuja, yet none of my 2 ES9A would pop oil pressure issue, while the temperature remained below 140°C, even with aggressive hard acceleration on these engines in some of these extremely hot afternoons, while I am on fundrive, year after year, same Engine, no oil burn or smoke. So, when next you try to come up with how bad 5w-40 is for the ES9A, understand how nonsensical your position would sound to me. Of course, I would admit one major downside of running 5w-40 in an ES9A. The engine would hardly be dry. Always expect it to be wet, not necessarily dropping oil, as long as the notorious Cylinder head cover seals/gaskets are not leaking at the time, including the other engine seals (Camshafts & Crankshaft). But I still never had to top up before oil change is due, even though the engines would be wet. Most times, the source or cause are the 2 VVT solenoids that can't help but spit oil (major weak components on ES9A, compared to the indestructible ES9J4S VVT solenoid). One thing I know most vehicle users lack is the understanding of certification marks when it comes to engine oils for their engines. Also as an IP professional, I very well understand why these marks are very important in selecting or choosing which oil is best for your engine. Just because an oil container has 10w-40 or 5w-40 sticker on it doesn't mean it's good for your ES V6 Peugeot engine. In other words, not all 10w-40 and 5w-40 are good for your engine. Look out for the ones Peugeot has already tested for you and certified good enough for your engine, indicating Peugeot oil certification codes for your engine. Not having your engine oil code doesn't mean it's a bad oil, but just not for your engine. If you are after 5w-40 for the PR ES9A & ES9J4S, look out for PSA B71 2296 on the oil container or research further on the oil for the mark. Likewise, if you are after 10w-40 for your ES engines, insist on PSA B71 2300 mark on the oil. These marks could change, but they are always updated by Peugeot on their service manuals, etc. I honestly don't give a rip about oil international standards like the ACEA and the likes. I care more or focus more on what an engine manufacturer says or recommends for its engine, after some practical tests of the oil has been carried out in their well equipped laboratories or/and out on the road, to determine if the oil meets the engine requirements. But some people, either ignorantly or intentionally, choose to do these tests or experiments on their engines themselves to either prove Peugeot right or wrong, which is OK, as along as you don't bitch about the consequences, incase you get results you don't like. Total Quartz 9000 5w-40 and Mobil Super 3000 5w40 have both proven on my 3 Peugeot-Renault ES V6 Engines that Peugeot was right all along. Lion-King Monk. 1 Like

Religion / Refused To Stay Dead by PCHC(m): 11:57pm On Mar 06 |
DANIEL 3:24 [Daniel 3:24 BSB] - Suddenly King Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in amazement and asked his advisers, “Did we not throw three men, firmly bound, into the fire?” “Certainly, O king,” they replied. [Daniel 3:24 ICB] - Then King Nebuchadnezzar was very surprised and jumped to his feet. He asked the men who advised him, “Didn’t we tie up only three men? Didn’t we throw them into the fire?” They answered, “Yes, our king.” Two things about the king in the Bible verse above: PART ONE - AMAZEMENT AFTER ASSASSINATION *1* The King was shocked (astonished) Stories would be read and told —That there have been great people who others thought putting them to death or destruction meant ending them or silencing them forever; but they realized to their great shock/amazement that killing those people only made them far more alive and far more influential and powerful than they were before. In this Bible verse above, Nebuchadnezzar the king acted like a man who is shocked at seeing the people he killed yet alive; seeing alive and thriving the people he was sure he killed and confirmed dead. It's as if he was seeing ghosts. The way Cain was shocked at hearing the voice of his brother Abel still speaking after he was sure he killed him. The king in Bible above became more shocked, more astonished, more restless and unable to remain sited on his throne of power for those three Christians he condemned, consumed and destroyed by the fire, because those he killed refused to remain dead or to stay dead; and that haunts. PART TWO - ACCOUNTABILITY AFTER ASSASSINATION *2* The King asked his advisers/counselors, didn't we threw three men into the fire? And they confirmed it so. By the king's question and by the answer his advisers/counselors gave him here, then there are these two Accountabilities: *A* Accountability for the Number of people they cast into the fire or killed; — (In this case they were 3) *B* Accountability for all those who supported, agreed or were involved in condemning and casting the 3 men into the furnace of fire: — (In this case it was not the King only that was responsible but including his advisers, counselors and ministers, involved) How many people were killed by us, and how many were we who killed them? A — How God and His People would account for the number or statistics of those who shall be cast into the lake of fire is by retaining those books the angels used in recording the deeds of everyone of those who's names are not written in the Book of Life. Even though the damned shall be cast into the lake of fire, the records of the heavens about them shall remain with the heavens. B — How God and His People would account for those who were with Him, who supported Him and agreed with Him, in decision of casting anyone into the lake of fire, is by God not conducting the final Judgment alone or in isolation but involving the chosen saints and the Panel of Judges so that it would be in agreement of atleast two or three who stand for Righteousness, Justice, Mercy, Holiness, Wisdom and Truth, before anyone is cast into the Fire.

Health / Septol Medicated Antiseptic Soap: My Experience With Different Variants by Xeendars(m): 11:52am On Mar 06 |
Septol Medicated Antiseptic soaps have been a staple in my bathroom cabinet for quite some time now. I recently decided to embark on a journey trying out their various options, each boasting unique benefits for the skin. Here's my experience with each: 1. Septol Medicated Antiseptic Soap with Vitamin E: This soap lives up to its claims of leaving the skin feeling clean and refreshed. The presence of Vitamin E is a plus, knowing it contributes to a healthy glow and protects against environmental damage. While I wouldn't say it drastically transformed my skin, it did leave it feeling soft and smooth, making it a good choice for everyday use. 2. Septol Medicated Antiseptic Soap with Aloe Vera: If you're looking for a soap that specifically targets blemishes and promotes a youthful appearance, this Aloe Vera variant might be the answer. I found it gentle enough for daily use and noticed a slight reduction in the appearance of minor blemishes over time. The added benefit of keeping the skin hydrated was also welcome. 3. Septol Medicated Antiseptic Soap with Menthol: This soap is a breath of fresh air, literally! The menthol provides a delightful cooling sensation, perfect for hot summer days or post-workout showers. It left my skin feeling invigorated and clean, and I appreciated the light, refreshing scent. Additionally, the presence of glycerin offered a welcome touch of smoothness. 4. Septol Medicated Antiseptic Soap with Lemon: For those with acne-prone skin, the Septol Lemon soap could be a game-changer. The antibacterial and antiseptic properties, coupled with the power of lemon, effectively cleaned my skin and prevented future breakouts. While the scent might be a bit strong for some, it faded quickly, leaving a feeling of thorough cleanliness behind. 5. Septol Medicated Antiseptic Soap with Osun: This luxurious black soap boasts a unique blend of ingredients, including Osun, known for its exfoliating properties. I found it incredibly effective at removing dead skin cells, making my skin feel smoother and refreshed. The combination of natural ingredients also provided a gentle yet effective clean, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a more natural skincare approach. Overall, I was impressed with the variety and effectiveness of Septol Medicated Antiseptic soaps. Each variant offers unique benefits to cater to different skin types and concerns. Try them out to see which one best suits your needs and preferences. Please note: This is just my personal experience, and results may vary depending on individual skin type and sensitivity. It's always recommended to consult a dermatologist before trying any new skincare product, especially if you have any underlying skin conditions. I discovered they are responsive on their Facebook and Instagram handles: here it is for those who might be interested in reaching out: Facebook: fb.com/septolantiseptic/ Instagram: @septol_antiseptic

Nairaland / General / Ogoni Deserves The Humane Treatment It Seeks by NwaorguF: 11:30am On Mar 06 |
By Fegalo Nsuke The struggles of people all over the world to protect their rights and dignity have been the subject of conflicts especially when few individuals privileged to control the powers and authority of state turn these privileges into an instrument of repression and will want to surpress agitations that favour greater social freedom. Quite often, state repression arises from the failure or inability of state actors to articulately defend their actions. The fear of a more superior idea and the desperation to cover their emptiness, many times, turn them repressive. In Nigeria, the Ogoni people have been victims of a bitter repression. After 35 years of reckless oil mining by The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria's subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell PLC, the Ogoni people saw that the wealth of the land made no impact in their lives. This prompted an awakening spiralling into an unprecedented civil consciousness in Nigeria's Niger Delta region and forcing Shell to shut down its Ogoni operations in mid 1993. With a verifiable oil production capacity of 500,000 barrels a day, Nigeria lost a very conservative estimate of $375 Billion to Shell's exit from the Ogoni oilfields in the past 30+ years. With recent drilling technology, the production capacity is put at over 500,000 barrels per day. Shell's failure to respond to community concerns had become intolerable due to accumulated environmental and economic disaster and had ignited a huge civil uprising against the company. The company's response to the protests was to back a brutal state repression which left some 4,000 Ogonis dead including Mr Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight others that were hanged on November 10, 1995. Today, the stench of Shell still remain profound in Ogoni but Nigeria's unfriendly environmental laws have made it extremely difficult to seek redress for the Ogoni people. A very sad narrative is that Nigeria's laws do not punish for crimes like that of Shell in the Ogoni area. The good news is that despite the persecutions, killings, torture and the painful situation in which our people live, the Ogoni people still show some strong patriotism and willingness to move on with hopes for a change that will undo the wrongs of the past. One of these expectations is the right of the Ogoni people to function within Nigeria as a distinct ethnic nationality, secured from political and economic deprivations as is currently the case. The right to be protected from the prejudices of dominant ethnic groups in Nigeria and to optimize its potentials for the good of the people. The Ogoni people should not be left vulnerable to the exploitation of Nigeria's dominant ethnic groups, nor should the pollution and murders of Shell be further tolerated and allowed to flourish without consequences. The government cannot only be interested in exploiting the enormous natural endowments of the Ogoni people while they are left to grapple with the negative consequences of natural resource extraction. The pride, dignity, and future of the Ogoni people should also be secured and not be sacrificed for businesses and profits. That is the basis we have proposed the operationalization of the Ogoni Development Authority (ODA) as an acceptable pathway to resolve the three decade oil conflicts in Ogoni. The ODA is an expression of our desire for self respect, fairness and the humane treatment we seek. A desire that doesn't threaten any other nationality in Nigeria. In fact, our proposal is in the best interest of our country and will only conduce to greater peace and development for Nigeria. We all need to unlock the huge natural resource potentials of Ogoni for national development and also for the benefit of the Ogoni people. We need to break the limitations which has kept these resources stranded in the ground, untapped, not benefiting anyone, while the Ogoni people walk that same grounds in difficult conditions. These expectations require strong decisions and compromises which we must make. Going forward, that will be a right path to take. Ogoni Must Survive. Fegalo Nsuke is president of the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP).

Religion / Your Tasks By The Kitchen Of Fire by PCHC(m): 12:30am On Mar 05 |
DANIEL 3:22 [Daniel 3:22 NKJV] — Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. [Daniel 3:22 TLV] — But because the king’s order was so urgent and the furnace so extremely hot, a raging flame killed those men who carried up Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. YOUR TASKS BY THE KITCHEN OF FIRE Have you heard a saying that goes like this: "If you cannot abide the heat then get out of the kitchen?" I now tell you, do not always use or give such advice/saying as a disciple or disciplined one. You don't just leave any kitchen just because you cannot abide its heat, especially when leaving the kitchen because of its heat means violating the Lord's word to you In the Bible verse above, those who were killed by the fire of the furnace were faithful soldiers of Babylon, who though they could not abide the degrees of the heat of that kitchen (furnace), yet they did not leave the kitchen to save their own lives but died in the kitchen to fully obey and fulfill the urgent commandment of their lord and king: and though they died, they completed their task of casting those men into the furnace of fire even while dying, and they died in active service (fiery service). How many Christians would have fled the kitchen and the Lord's commandment just because they could not abide the heat? How many pastors/shepherds, who are basically hirelings, that would have fled and left the sheep as soon as they see the wolf coming? Many fled their true ministry instead of them abiding its heat. When we tell the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we should not mock these soldiers that got killed by the fire while binding and casting those 3 men into the furnace; rather let's us honor them for meeting their king's deadline and became dead. How else would the furnace of fire had proven that it was actually that deadly and seven times hotter, seeing it could not show itself on the three servants of God but it could show itself on those? The top Bible verse above gave us combo of two opposing pressures that resulted in the death of those soldiers who were casting the people into the furnace of the fire: the two pressures: *1* The king's command was Urgent/Hasty: Recall how Daniel had questioned with wisdom the messengers sent to kill the wise men of Babylon, asking, "Why is the king's command hasty/urgent?" (Daniel 2:15). Daniel knew how to defer the hastiness of that king's destructive decrees/commands unlike these soldiers that lost their lives because of such hasty deadline. Daniel's grace to calm the urgency or hastiness of the king's decree then saved him, saved these 3 Christians (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego), and saved the wisemen of Babylon from the destruction that day. The Lord who delayed the urgency of sending His servants to remove the Tares from the Wheat saved many of us by delaying His coming, delaying His Judgment and extending His Mercy and Grace of Time to us. But if the days are those of tribulations, He would shorten the days for the elects sake: for if He doesn't, no flesh shall be saved [Mark 13:20]. *2* The Fire was exceedingly/extremely hot: The safety field level due to the severe temperature of the fire had seven times shrinked because of the expanded red zones, circumference or perimeter of its heat waves and flames. [Proverbs 6:27-28 BSB'19] — "Can a man embrace fire and his clothes not be burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without scorching his feet?" Recall my vision of the lake of fire, and how I almost reached forth to pulled someone out of it, before the Lord stopped me with Fire in His Eyes as He looked at me and sternly warned me. Let me not go there in details. I learnt my lesson and received His mercy. The Lord was not against me pulling people out of the fire, but against my trying to hold them or getting too close out of the safety of His Presence and Will in the Fire. I should pull people out of the fire before they enter the fire, for it's too late to pull them out of it when they are already cast into the fire. Whether casting people into the fire like those soldiers or pulling people out of it, let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he falls. Well, we have scripture that sends us to pull people out of the fire before they fall; no scripture that sends us to cast people into the fire. Nevertheless, while pulling people out of the fire we must do so with "Fear" and "Hate" (Not just with faith and Love): You must have some fear and some hate together with much faith and love: *1* — Fear — For you to take heed lest you fall and for keeping safety measures. *2* — Hate — For you to hate Garments that has been spotted or defiled by the flesh. Did we not talk about the garments, the flesh and chains of those getting cast into the fire in precedings? Hate garments defiled by flesh while pulling people from the fire. As it is written, Save them by snatching them out of the fire; but on others have mercy with fear—hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to the One who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Yeshua the Messiah our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, both now and forever. Amen. [Jude 1:23-25 TLV]

Politics / Nigeria Government; Peaceful Change Or A Violent Revolution? by EmmaJnr1: 8:34pm On Mar 04 |
N!GERIAN GOVERNMENT: PEACEFUL CHANGE OR A V!OLENT REVOLUT!ON? THE DECISION IS YOURS By Rev. Fr. Angelo Chidi Unegbu (written on 04. May, 2021) 1) Before the emergence of organized societies, humans lived in what was known as the ‘State of Nature’ where life was nasty, precarious, and short (Thomas Hobbes). Justice was never a part of this setting, apart from jungle justice, where suspected criminals were hastily dealt with without being convicted or given the opportunity to defend themselves. Death was the most common punishment of the time, served either by a mob or someone more powerful. In the ‘State of Nature,’ might or power was right! 2) To put an end to this quagmire, humans decided to go into an agreement where they freely decided to entrust some of their rights to an authority that would be charged with the protection of their lives and property. This was also a way of forestalling any form of jungle justice, for the life of an alleged criminal is also to be protected unless convicted for a grievous crime (such as taking the life of another). Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, and others described this free agreement among people as ‘The Social Contract Theory’, in their attempt to define the origins of government as we know it today. 3) In Nigeria today, it is so sad that government security officials are the ones spearheading jungle justice. Instant k!llings of yet-to-be-convicted criminals without trial or pulling the trigger at the slightest provocation have become the order of the day. Many are even killed in police or military custody while in handcuffs. Peaceful protests and unarmed agitations are dispersed with live bullets, and dead bodies are whisked away to unknown destinations. 4) The truth is that when any government can no longer protect the lives and properties of its citizens, or worse, when it participates in the extrajudicial k!llings of its citizens and eventually becomes the monster it was meant to fight, then the ‘Social Contract Theory’ empowers the people to withdraw their mandate from such a government. When this happens, the people are to look for any other social arrangement that would ensure the protection of lives and property, justice, peace, and progress. 5) The fact that Nigerians, in the face of the worrisome security challenges, cannot unseat the government or renegotiate their social contract, constitution, or union simply exposes the fact that there was no Social Contract in the first place. What we have is a state that was artificially constructed and eventually hijacked by political gangsters, merchants, and/or terr0rists. 6) But to the hijackers of the mandate of the people in Nigeria, John F. Kennedy has something to tell you: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable." 04.May. 2021 Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu

First of all this is not my first time of smoking, i am used to smoking different kind of cannabis strains but i am not an addict, i do go months without smoking or drinking whenever am busy. Infact i started smoking back this year just February 15 but i have been smoking heavily since then and my body has really got tolerant of it that i didn't really get high again even after smoking a whole stick. So i decided to get new experience , i have been seeing people buying what they normally call "colo" whenever i went to buy AZ or Loud so i decided to buy it too today. When i got home, I immediately mixed the colo with AZ i had at home and get prepared for the experience. I had bought a food and hollandia youghurt to step down after smoking but things never go as planned. The last thing i remember was that i was sitting on the chair in my room and took about three puffs. In the next moment i found myself in bed, i didn't even know i got there, after a few moments in bed i didn't know how it happened but i fell into infinite loop/hallucination, its as if i am falling from the sky indefinitely and there is nothing i could do to stop it, i could not move my body, no choice whatsoever, its as if am dead, the experience is very painful and can't be fully explained. After some moment, i could feel abit conscious, i could see with my eyes this time but not clearly, the foods and drinks on my table made it look as if am on a refuse ground and i am already mad. I believe i am already mad at this point and i became really sad and bitter, i think my about my mom and thought about how she will feel. Once i already believed that i am not in my right senses, i started looking for who i can call to help me gain my sanity, my mom seem to be the only person i think i could trust and i wanted to call her but I couldn't stand up nor did i remember where i kept my phone. I couldn't remember anything at all because my head was blank, i completely forgot where i am and lost the concept of time, i thought that is how i will be for life. I was in this position for moments before i started gaining consciousness, immediately i could start up, i rushed to the bathroom and poor water on head and i eventually vomited. I felt better after vommitting, i immediately took the remaining colo and weed and flushed the nonsense away. I thank God for bringing me back to life, today i have made vow that i will never smoke again, i have nothing to do with any kinds of smoke again in my life, they are too dangerous!! I am very sure anyone who is not an heavy user of other cannabis will run mad if take Colorado mistakenly. Lastly, avoid smoking if you can and don't ever collect smokes from people you hardly know outside, it could be colo! 26 Likes 1 Share

Religion / Why Was Jesus Crucified? by Thegospelman(m): 3:45pm On Mar 04 |
WHY WAS JESUS CRUCIFIED? The blood that Jesus shed on the Cross could have efficacy for our salvation because He had taken upon the sins of the world once and for all by being baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River. All the religionists of this world do not realize that Jesus accepted the sins of the world by being baptized by John the Baptist, died on the Cross, and rose from the dead again, all to blot out the sins of this world once and for all through the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit. Now, anyone who wants to receive the remission of his sins must know the gospel of the water and the Spirit exactly, under the six basic elements of facts: “Who, when, where, what, how and why.” God’s Word is the Truth. The Word of God is not a superstition. God’s Truth is the Word of Truth that fits exactly, even when it is tested under the six basic elements of fact of human perspective. Those who still have not received the remission of sin into their hearts must now find out the reason why Jesus was baptized and shed His blood, and believe in this fact. Do you know why you were born in this world? Do you know the reason and purpose for which God created the human race? God chose us in Christ even before the foundation of the world, and to make us His children, He created mankind on the sixth day of His creation of the heavens and the earth. In allowing us to be born in this world, God planned to enable us to receive everlasting life as His eternal children—in other words, God wanted to make us His own people by giving the blessing of rebirth to those of us who believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. That is why God gave us the gospel of the water and the Spirit, so that we humans would be born again according to His plan. Why did Jesus Christ come to this earth? It was to save us from the sins of the world, and to make us His children, that God sent His only begotten Son Jesus to this earth, and when Jesus came to this earth, He was baptized by John and shed His blood on the Cross, thereby saving sinners from sin. We must believe in this gospel of the water and the Spirit with our hearts. If Jesus Christ indeed took upon all the sins of this world by being baptized by John the Baptist, then we should believe in this truth with all our hearts. Through this baptism that Jesus Christ received, he took away all the sins of our entire lifetime, and He was crucified. Jesus, having received His baptism from John, bore the sins of mankind and washed them all away once and for all. By thus being baptized by John and crucified, Jesus Christ paid the wages of our sins. We should therefore be grateful for the baptism of Jesus Christ, for His resurrection and for His second coming as well. One must not think that his rebirth from sin depends on his own good deeds. To save us from the sins of the world, and to make us God’s children in the likeness of His image, Jesus, who is the true God Himself, received from John the Baptist the baptism through which He accepted the sins of the world; to bear the condemnation of sin, He was crucified and shed His blood on the Cross; and rising from the dead, He has enabled us to be born again as God’s children. Religion / THEY WERE WEARING TROUSERS, ROBES AND TURBANS (CAPS), IN CHAINS AND IN HELL FIRE by PCHC(m): 10:14am On Mar 04 |
DANIEL 3:21 [Daniel 3:21 NKJV] — Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. [Daniel 3:21 ICB] — So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were tied up and thrown into the blazing furnace. They were still wearing their robes, trousers, turbans and other clothes. THEY WERE WEARING TROUSERS, ROBES AND TURBANS (CAPS), IN CHAINS AND IN HELL FIRE This was the first time and only time the word "Trouser(s)" appeared in the Bible, and yet not all Bible translations captured the word used in this Bible verse above as "Trousers." This Bible verse above is showing us two things: *1* Showing the Christians (Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego) were fully dressed in their own clothes when they were bound or tied with the cords or ropes: — They were not stripped of their clothing as the Lord Jesus Christ was stripped of His before He was crucified or chained to the cross. There was no intention of casting lot over those men's clothes, and even though they assumed the fire would burn those clothes, no one was like Achan who coveted/lusted after Babylonian Garments in the destruction of Jericho though I am referring to Garments of three rulers in the province of Babylon. *2* Showing the Christians (Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego) were dressed in like the traditional Indian men or Arabian men would dress, having turbans as caps on their heads and putting on trousers: — I believe you know the peoples' men that dress with Coats/Robes, Trousers and Turbans (caps). In the Bible verse above, the soldiers of Babylon did not strip the three men of their clothing, nor even remove their caps/turbans from their heads: Rather the soldiers tied up both their bodies and their clothing (Trousers, robes, turbans, and other clothes) together when they were cast into furnace of fire. Even so, the people who are cast into hell fire were not stripped of their clothing, but were bound in their clothing, caps or crowns as kings even in hellfire, the way they were on earth when they died. So many people would strip the dead body of their relations off their clothes, and either put the deadbody in a mortuary or bathe (wash) the dead body: and then use only white linen or white clothes to cover or wound the dead body around the way they did to Lazarus whom Jesus raised from the dead; and then they bury their dead with those white clothes or any other clothes or even naked underground. However, notwithstanding how or what clothes they put on the dead bodies before burial, if those dead people are in hell fire they are usually putting on their own clothes which they wore or dressed in when they died on earth, not when they are buried. Those who were usually wearing mini-skirts, half-naked, fully dressed, wearing hats, caps, crowns, veils, turbans, hijabs, etc., when they died on earth shall also be wearing those in hell fire, while getting afflict, tormented and burnt. Remember people in hell fire have their flesh and clothes constantly getting burnts, torn, and ripped off, and yet getting healed again for them to get ripped off, torn and burnt again, in a repeated cycle of getting destroyed and ripped off in excruciating pains and yet returned whole again for another round of getting destroyed again: Thus they never die nor cease to exist, and the fire there is not quench (Mark 9:46-48); but only endless cycles of sufferings, pains, torments, hopelessness, and darkness. It does not mean their clothes on earth disappear on earth to be with them in hell fire—No. Rather their "Soulish Body" (which is their inner body) mirrors their "Earthly Body" (which is the outer body) even in clothing, if it's cast into hell fire (not heaven). That is, when a man/woman dies, his earthly body (carcass, dust & bones) and earthly clothes remain on earth, and later his earthly body gets buried where the flesh return to dust and his bones become dried bones. But the soul of the dead person would be separated from his body (earthly body and breath) — That soul is also a Body/Flesh (Soulish Body/Flesh), having every marks and details of the dead/earthly body including the marks of that dead body's sins, body-counts (fornication), blood on his heads/hands (murders), evils, lies, iniquities, vices, soul-ties etc., which unified with the man/woman while on earth, they shall all become part of the person's soul and indelible like the mark of the beast on that soul's body. The person's talents, skills, senses, abilities and clothing with his identities while on earth would also remain part of the person's soul's body (second/inner body). It's like how they write physical receipt, invoice or bank teller in few years ago, wherein they put Stencil Paper between the outer body of White papered Receipt/Invoice/Teller and the inner body of colored papered Receipt/Invoice/Teller, and whatever is written on the outer body (white paper) would automatically be written or transmitted also to/on the inner body (colored paper) through the Stencil Paper between them. Thats how a man's outer body (dust) transmits whatever he/she does in the flesh/body to his inner body (soul). So when Jesus Christ spoke of better to cut one's own part of his body to enter life than having one's whole body cast into hellfire (Mark 9:46-48), it's not the outer body (dust) that is usually cast into hell fire but the inner body (soul) of the same man. The outer body of a man lives by breath of life, blood and strength of living: but the inner body of a man lives beyond/without the breath of life in his nostrils or blood in his veins. It's this inner body (soul) that gets consumed and ripped off in hellfire, and still never dies in endless cycles of sufferings and painsstated in 'Proverbs 5:11.' Jesus Christ said, "Fear God who destroys both body and soul in hell" [Matthew 10:28]. So there's another body that goes with the soul in hell, after the outer body (carcass) is dead and dusting. So my point is this, those who are cast into hell fire do not get a change of clothing nor do they get prisoners' wears/attires, though they get chained/tied up in their own clothes they brought along. And to add, there are certain clothes or garments one may come with and no one or no chains can bind such person: You cannot be bound or tied up when you are dressed in your wedding garment to the King of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. But if you are without your wedding garment, you could be bound like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, or like Joseph who left his cloth in the hand of Potiphar's wife (adulteress). Wear your wedding garment, to avoid getting bound or tied up: As it is written, "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he said to him, Friend, how came you in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen." [Matthew 22:11-14] You shall find out that clothing (called immortality) could make the difference between the captives (prisoners) and the free ones, between the mortal and the immortal. As it is written, For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. [II Corinthians 5:4 NKJV]

Politics / Peter Obi Orient Refinery Vs Dangote Refinery by blancsn1: 8:47am On Mar 04 |
Peter Obi invested over ₦4 billion into his friends Orient Refinery and it was commissioned by Ebele Jonathan 14 years ago but till this morning it is yet to produce 30 cl of fuel or kerosene talk more of a litre and the entire Igbo population that have been on delayed Dangote Refinery production issue as not said a single world. What is going on ? Note- Dangote Refinery was commissioned less than a year ago and Igbos have been shouting it is all a ruse because it shifted it production date for whatever reason. The geometric power plant by Bart Nnaji as already shifted distribution date twice but no Igbo is claiming it is a ruse so my question is when will Orient Refinery start production ? More importantly when will Igbos start holding failures like Peter Obi accountable for dubious crime of siphoning state funds into dead company only for the funds to vanish into thing air. Like Orient refinery like brewery. The inability of Igbos to hold political leaders who failed woefully like Peter Obi to account is why the foolish soul think with his bag of failure he can rule a country like Nigeria with a foolish n senseless tales of moving production to consumption or whatever the foolish phrase the fool as been using to fool the igbos Fergie001 Mynd44 Nlfpmod Seun Dominique Mukina2 You people should move this to frontpage for Nigerians to know the criminal Ipob is now seriously promoting his propaganda on all social media platforms 13 Likes 4 Shares
